Maybe your switch is set to LS and not DP?
Toodles, can you please post it on the V.S thread once you manage to pull the V.S harness/kitty out? It would be awesome.
Id’ rather not. It’d feel like spam to me to jump in with a ‘Hey guise, by my stuph’. I’ll definitely be posting in this thread and putting it up on the site though. They’ve already shipped and are on their way. You can watch them come in by tracking DHL package #7818322993
With luck, should be available Monday or Tuesday.
Already tried both…
Or you could describe what the actual problem is in great detail to see if anyone can help with it.
oops…
my problem is that everything looks ok (when testing at game controlles)
it works on both ps3 and 360. All lights that should lit working.
the only problem is that sometimes the directional stucks for a second…
exemplo…in SSF4 trainning mode…i walk forward, stop walking, and the char keep’s walking for a sec…like a lag…
tried LS and DP…
Does this happen on 360 , PS3, or both?
both
Just going to the right? Just going to the left? Does the same thing happen when crouching (remains crouching for a bit before standing up)?
And just how sure are you that it also happens on PS3?
it happens in any directions…(remains crouching for a bit…tried this also)
not 100% on PS3 …felt playing but didnt go to the lab like i did on 360…will tryout at night…and give you the feedback…
anyway thanks for the support so far…
If it happens on all directions, I’d bet money it is entirely localized to the 360, with the slide switch in LS. The LS setting on the TE boards have a built in thing where it will remain in a direction for a split second before returning to neutral. That also explains why you didn’t see it on a PC; either it’d be in Kitty mode, which doesn’t do that, or it’d have to be set to DP in 360 mode for you to see any directions at all.
Got it. But I don’t think that would be spamming, just letting customers know about it in different areas.
No prob, though.
BTW, will it be as simple as any other Kitties to install right? Basic connecting and stuff? Havent used a Kitty before, only the Chimp. >D
It’s exactly the same as the normal TE-S install, except you need to clip or dremel this little corner piece of plastic out of the way so the Kitty can lay flat.
@Fmito Does it happen for all four directions? Left, right, jump, duck? Also, can you clearly hear each switch engaging and disengaging as you move the stick? I just want to make sure the microswitches in the stick aren’t sticking.
If all seems fine on the joystick front, the next thing you can do is unplug the black 5-pin joystick cable from the Kitty, unplug the corresponding gray cable going from the Kitty to the original TE board, and plug the black cable back in to the original TE board and see if your lag problems are still present.
EDIT: Yeah, next time I won’t sit idle on the page for an hour.
Ok i have everything hooked up with the TE-S harness (well i think i do). So i’m at the testing part and here are the problems im running into:
-
When im checking the buttons it seems like the led button for the LT isnt working
-
When i just plug in the usb into the comp to get TE Kitty Edition. On my devices it says USB input device. (im not sure if thats correct)
Which TE is it?
Does the LT button work when you test it on PC? In 360 mode?
Is the LT LED always on or always off?
Do all of the other 7 LEDs light up appropriately?
As for 2., you’re going to have to be more specific. Screenshots would help.
Hello Toodles, could you explain how I could go about doing this? I’ve tried searching around for a while with no luck on how to do so.
Which TE is it? BlazBlue
Does the LT button work when you test it on PC? In 360 mode? No i havent tried to see if the actual button works on console yet
