toodles, everything is good when i plug the joystick as TE kitty on the pc, but when i try to force xbox360 (RS slide & Guide button hold down) it will install the usb driver successfully however when i check to control panel it doesn’t read as Madcatz Street Fighter 4 etc…nothing shows up, no selectable device.
Open it up and just look at that five pin cable going from Kitty to TE board, the thick one with the odd connectors on the ends.
Aren’t you supposed to hold turbo or back while forcing 360 mode?

I only know because of this:
My TE-S kitty board with harness has been working fine for a while. However, I went a few months without using it and then did some work on the inside of my board which required me to unscrew the board for a few moments. After putting everything back together I plugged my stick into my PS3 but it is no longer working. The buttons light up when they are held down like normal but they go blank for a second roughly every three seconds. The x-box led also flashes on the bottom left and upper right (If I hold down the xbox button the upper left and the bottom right flash instaid and switch back if I let go). I have tried the switches in all 6 possible positions and had no successful results. I then went back into the pdf to see if everything was installed right. The stick does not appear on the “control joy.cpl”. I then tried downloading the firmware to flash my sick and followed the readme. When I hit OK after pressing the update firmware I have a black window pop up for less than a split second and disappear. I tried tightening all my connections and seem to be unable to find anything =( Please helps <3
The WWE stick uses a TE PCB right? I wonna know before I buy a bunch of them and a bunch of Kitties.

If the upper left and lower right LEDs dont stay on when you start bootloader mode, there’s no point in trying to flash it. You need to undo the change you made that borked it. If you cant tell what that was, it would be quicker for you to open it up, remove the kitty board entirely from the stick, and go through the installation process again.
Just wondering, do you think you’ll fix the problem with certain PS3 games not reading directional inputs in DP mode? Specifically, are there issues with using the joystick in LS mode?
Whelp I got it to a point where it recognizes the TE-Kitty in the game controllers with everything but one cable plugged in which is progress. Not so for holding down the turbo to try and get the madcatz version visible… But as for the one cable is concerned the cabled label 5 that connects to CN1 has two wires torn out of the middle connector that I don’t know if I can fix =( I know where one of the two goes as the other one that is out is the one with the red on the side of the cable between the two shorter pins… I’m pretty sure this was from the TE-S harness. Is it possible to just order this one cable and just for the heck of it assuming I get everything working again the “Neutrik RJ-45 pass through jack”

- Nope, no problems at all. If you’re worried about the way inputs get wonky when in 360 mode and the slider on LS, that’s not a problem when the Kitty is running the show, only in 360 mode.
You’d need to order another $5 TE-S kit to replace it.Or you can get some 6 pin and 5 pin connectors and crimp pins from Digikey (JST brand, PH model) and try to fix it yourself, but it’s a bitch. In your spot, I’d just get a new TE-S hit and replace the broken cable.
Anyone else having a problem with the new xbox update and TE/kitty not working in Netflix?

I tried LK, MP, HK like with my imp V2 stick but it doesn’t seem to work.
