FAQs, first post.
So I got the diode soldered to the board and my friend fixed it. He was very unsure about himself if he would get it but yeah everything works now. Thanks for all the help with that! 
Will probably buy quite a few more things from you down the road. Looking to make my Agetec stick a MC for like PS2 and PS3 and stuff like that.
ibeatu, please try these firmwares out on Xbox1 again. The Xbox needed an overhaul to properly use the button mapping, and I may have done the VLX testing on a different firmware. This one, 100%, works great on Xbox1, even with the button mapping and Guide LEDs.

I am having a slight issue. my te kitty does not work in xbox360 mode by automation. So if i plug in the cord in my 360. the upper left and lower right guide leds flicker then stick is useless. But if i force it in 360 mode it is fine. I just hold the back button and have the slider on rs and everything works perfectly. I even reflashed it with 1.3 from the directions and no change…i checked it with the meter and it is getting juice…any ideas???
Upper left and lower right? Can you try plugging it into an Xbox360 that’s already on and at the dashboard, with the slide switch set to ‘Locked’ and let me know if it detects properly?
lower right and left guide leds…no workie still. i doubled checked my wiring harness to make sure they were correct but they seem fine and non-xbox mode all buttons seem fine. wierd
EDIT: after the upper left and lower right guide led flickers the upper left guide led…for 1 player flickers once after that when the slider is set to lock.
Hey Toodles. 3 quick questions:
- Would you still recommend getting the the JLF-TE harness for a TE-S install?
- Where should I notate on my pre-order that I need a TE-S kit?
- Should I wait to put in a pre-order until confirmation of a new batch of Kitty’s or jump on it ASAP?

Plug it into the Xbox360 the same way; when the guide LEDs turn off, move the stick around. I need to know if the guide LEDs light up to match the stick like it does for the other modes.
- Recommend, yes, but its not required.
- When you send a paypal, there’s a section for notes to send with it. Just ‘I need 1 TE Kitty and 1 TE-S harness’ or similar.
- You should wait. I dont like doing preorders, and there’s no need for me to hang onto anyone’s money. Hang tight, and I’ll definitely be posting up when they’re available again. Sadly, it will be 6+ weeks.

i did that before i posted but im not comfortable just sending money to an email address. i know toodles has been around a long time. but im still not comfortable with it.
i havent talked to toodles in ages on aim but he wasnt on at all ill just try again later.

I dont have anything to add that isn’t in the first post. Yep, it’s just sending a paypal with a note of what you want. I’m sorry I dont have anything more professional lined up, but you’ll find plenty of folks who have ordered the same way with pleasant results in this thread, the Cthulhu thread, and the Spark thread.
Here are some of the exercises I performed. When I plug the stick in the 360 when it is on the dashboard even when moving the stick, the guide leds do not light up. The buttons on the turbo light up but they do not help me go thru the menu/dashboard
50% of the time if i plug the stick in when the xbox is booting, i will get the 1 player led on the guide button to light up…so good so far…but when the 360 finishes booting and goes to the dashboard, all 4 guide leds stay lit. And sam symtpoms, joystick and buttons have no effect.
I tested the 360 force boot in both dashboard and 360 booting and everything seems fine. I reflashed it twice with 1.3 and like the instructions it did take about 30sec or so and not 10secs.
I rechecked both inbound and outbound usb screw down terminals, I made sure my harness on the kitty matched the ones on the 360 pcb which are ok since after a forceboot everything seems fine…unless you want a dump of what is on the board maybe???

Probably won’t mean much coming from a stranger, but I’ll vouch for Toodles any day. His communication is great, and he ships things so fast that I barely even get the chance to get impatient due to the excitement of new toys to play with.

updated the firmware still no luck on og xbox tried ps3,pc n ps2 worked fine on og xbox the top left light stays lit and nothing works
Well, let’s be sure the flashing is taking properly. Open up the Kitty.exe, click ‘Open HEX’, select the vlxkitty_complete_13.hex file, click ‘Open’. You should see the default USB string of "Kitty VLX Edition’ show up in the ‘USB String’ field. Edit it to something personal you havent used before like ‘ibeatu’s VLX’. Click ‘Save HEX’ and select a new filename, like ‘ibeatu.hex’. Click ‘Save’. Click on ‘Update firmware’, and select the ‘ibeatu.hex’ and let it update as normal. Once its done, replug the stick into your PC and open up the Game Controller’s applet of the control panel. I need to know if the new name shows up properly, or if it remains the older default name.

so what i cant save it but when i updated the new firmware 13 that u just posted i know it worked because when i got on ps3 i had to remap the buttons again
