Someone help!
Okay, so I just got some buttons from Akihabarashop.jp, OBSF-30RG and OBSF-24 to be exact, to switch out, but I’m having a real tough time puttin’ 'em in. The stock buttons on the Hori VLX should be exactly the same, OBSF-30 and OBSF-24, but for some reason the ones Akihabara sent me won’t fit at all.
I tried putting them in with much effort, but all in vain. I already contacted Akihabara, but just wanted to know if anyone here can help.

The buttons almost go through, but not all the way.

It is the little nubs under the Rim of Button.
Push the Button in super hard, or shave off the nubs.

There is no need to contact AkihabaraShop.jp site.
There is no defect with your Buttons.

I saw those nubs, and thought those might be it, but I noticed the stock ones on the VLX come with 'em, too.
I’ll try shaving them tonight, though.

I made a TAITO Vewlix F-sticker template:

I couldn’t find any hi-res TAITO-logo online so I decided to draw it from scratch. I used a very tiny TAITO logo for the basic measurements and checked the TAITO-logo on my VLX-stick. I will print this as stickers on each side of the VLX to look like the Vewlix F-cab’s side bars.

  1. Is the wrist angle the same as a HRAP V3-SA, MC TE or completely different angle?

  2. If the wrist angle’s the same as 1 of those 2 then same surface area (top to bottom obviously)?

On the TE, you rest your wrists on the top plate. On the VLX, you rest your hands on the front edge.

Ya, I know about the TE. I was inquiring whether the wrist angle & surface area (on a VLX) is the same as either a TE or V3-SA.

Just wanted to say that I’ve had this stick for nearly two weeks now and I am LOVING IT. Such a sweet stick! Kinda big, wished it was a bit thinner, but overall it’s freaking fantastic. Personal stick for life.

All that’s left is to swap out the L1 / R1 buttons for some grey ones a la TE style, and PS2 mod this thing. So stoked :nunchuck:
