What is needed to install an ls-56?
Just an MS plate. If you have an LS-56 as opposed to the LS-56-01, then you need to do something about the harness obviously.

Forgive me for being a stick noobie and all, but has anyone tried to mod the VLX to work with PS2 games? Iām really interested in buying it after playtesting on Jesserugiās stick, and it would solidify the deal for me if it was possible.

u can mod any stick to work with ps2 as long as it has a commound ground pcb which this 1 does, thats if you know how to do mod it yourself if not youd have to get it done buy someone who does know how
I did. But donāt put an optical because the ps2 doesnāt give enough voltage.

Got my joystick in from Amazon ($220 after some promo codes)and it plays like a beauty. Shit does not move (I play on the floor btw). FFF the haters.
that mounting plate was a disaster to assembleā¦ i thought i was a pro and could do it without looking at the instructions and i put it on wrong lmao i had to take it all apart and put it on again. I acctually havent gotten use to playing it on the floor, i plan on using it as a panel for one of my mame cabinets, but for now i put it on my desk with tv in front of it and i seem to get the hang out itā¦ its like too wide to put on the floor cuz then my legs are uncomfortableā¦ (thats what she said)
What are this stick dimensions??? Could please someone take some high res photographs of it and measure it???

Please note that I made this sketch to get an idea of what it will look like. The dimensions are roughly estimated and are not the true sizes. The real stand is less wide. I recommend to keep using this sketch, export it and write down the numbers of the dimensions. It doesnāt matter if the size of the sketch doesnāt reflect the real size because the numbers are what you will use to determine how to (let it) saw.

I got my replacement stick today ! The diffrence is night and day ! Im glad i wasnt being crazy or picky. The first stick they sent me was a lemon ! This new stick does not make the crunching noise and the artwork is damn near perfect ! For my troubles they sent me a wireless hori pad.

thanks for the sketchup file! i would like to build something like this for myself. iām planning on modifying the original design by adding a lip to the back. probably by extending the top panel or the panel which holds the vlx stick. i would then use a desk mount bracket (something like this) to mount my Asus monitor. would be a cool setup for the corner of my room.

Bought a table for this and everything but decided to hook my PS3 to my computer monitor instead due to input lag. Used Stickeryou for the stickers on the side and the base
