Blizz is talking about a Barb Revenge nerf on their forums. So yes, even the worst class gets hit by nerfs (and still…no one talks about WD lol).
I’m playing WD. I can’t wait to try the bears build.
Dogs summon is too weak and they get wiped almost immediately after summoning ever since nightmare, and they don’t do any damage anyway. The sacrifice ability uses them, but the dogs have a 45 second cooldown-- so it is taking up two skill slots to do an attack that isn’t that good in the first place-- and the other dog summoning abilities have alternatives that are just straight-up better.
Spirit Jaunt is fucking amazing. I didn’t understand the skill, but that it can make you invincible for 3 seconds and leaves behind a decoy where you were is fantastic.
The soul suck is amazing, but weird that you have to get in melee range to use it.
Gargantuan is ridiculously tanky-- I think something on it might be broken.
The other summons have too long of a cooldown to use practically.
Rain of frogs is my main attack. Great DPS, hits as an AOE, and it almost always hits as long as the enemy is on screen. I’ve specced to use it ever since I got it and it works beautifully. All the other frog skills are worse than useless though, ditto for basically every other attack he gets.
I honestly don’t know if he is good or not, he just seems like a bunch of shit thrown together to see
what sticks.
Too early to be firing off nerfs. Especially when this shit is PvE only.
that’ll probably get reduced to 1.5s
Can’t cheese with it since it has a 15 (or 13) second cooldown, unlike a certain retarded class.
If anyone wants to get up a level or 2 real quick, the quickest way i’ve figured out is to continuously do act 3 ‘kill azmodan’, it gives you 44.8k exp for killing him, and then another 44.8k for watching a cutscene after. (I got from 49-50 in 15 - 30 minutes) If anyone has any quicker way feel free to share
I usually just rush into azmodan instead of fighting through the dungeon since the dungeon is the same every time.
woo hoo 60!!!
Neph buff is fucking AMAZING. Went and did a quick Act 3 run, and my jaw dropped at how many good items I was getting.
I like seeing my DPS double, lol
Anywho, gonna do nightmare Whimsyshire tomorrow, if anybody cares…or later today when I wake up
there is an item called Boneweave Hauberk that lets you block mob pathing

damn i’ve seen that drop a few times too…
Are you serious? That’s the only skill keeping me alive in Inferno for now. I just killed King Leoric by myself. The Neph buffs are amazing. I’m seeing rares drop everywhere I go.
I’m a WD, almost done with Act 2 inferno. Nobody really talks about WD, because it’s the least played class so far. It’s a jack of all trades class, I put out 30K dps with 30K hp. I get 2-shot by everything in Act 2, sometimes 1-shot. We have decent kiting abilities, mediocre damage and incredibly shitty pets. I haven’t used my pets at all since Act 3 Hell when I was running through shit with nothing but long cooldowns and Zombie bears as my left click attack. That was fun.
^_-;
For Monks: How does Wave of Light fare in the harder difficulties? I remember hearing on FKO’s stream/elsewhere that you can just drop it in a crowd for good damage and get a little breathing room, which is true. But the kick moves seem to do the same thing for slightly less damage but much lower Spirit cost. Maybe it works best in super Spirit regen builds?
Before the Quickening bug was fixed, you used to be able to drop Pillar of the Ancients (last rune you get) almost all the time. Shit was ridiculous. Sadly, I don’t see a place for Wave of Light in Inferno. The spirit cost isn’t too bad really, but really it’s because you need a shit ton of other abilities to survive Inferno. I don’t even have a spirit dump in my current build (other than spam evasion aura to heal myself), due to taking so many defensive abilities.
I use Wave of Light with Daibo on Hell and its pretty good. Good aoe damage, not sure how it fares in Inferno since i havent unlocked it yet.
fascinating
the qqing reminds me of how bw fans were saying how sc2 sucked dick compared to bw.
and seriously, sc2 sucks dick compared to bw. kinda like how mvc3 is a piece of shit compared to mvc2
well guess i’ll stick with aion for now its free to play
Theres a way to make it a lot faster. Found it on reddit:
I seriously think this is going to get patched real soon, maybe even with tonights maintenance, but on the off chance that it doesn’t, here’s the best exp possible assuming you have a 60 that can solo hell Azmodan (though it works in all difficulties). My friend got a char from 1 to 36 in 1.5 hours doing this, and we only had 3 people running (4 makes it exponentially better) and another friend went from 46 to 60 in a couple hours, again this wasn’t a perfect run either, we were rusty and messed up a few times.
*When you kill Azmodan, you get the chance to click on his soul to put it in the black soulstone, this is a quest completion and gives you 80-100k on hell mode, depending on your level. In addition to this, you get another quest to go up to the tower to finish the act. This ALSO gives you the same amount of exp, 80-100k. By splitting games up based on the following explanation, which may not be that great…, you can get absolutely NUTS exp per azmodan kill. *
*So this is going to be long and somewhat complicated but here it goes. *
Players: A B C and D
** 1. A B C and D kill Azmodan, B,C,D Leave before soul and each click resume game *
** 2. A picks up soul in his current game, and turns in tower quest = 2 quest completions, *
** 3. A joins Bs game, B picks up soul, leaves game, and then resumes game. A then finishes tower quest for Bs game.= 2 Quest completions*
** 4. A then join Bs game again, A finishes tower quest there, = 1 more quest completion*
** 5. A and B join Cs game, C finishes Soul, B and C leave Cs game and resume new games, A then finishes tower quest = 2 more quest completions*
** 6. A joins Bs game, finishes tower quest = 1 more quest completion*
** 7. A and B join Cs game, finish tower quest = 1 more quest completion*
** 8. A B and C join Ds game, D clicks soul, B C and D leave game and resume game. A then finishes tower quest = 2 more quest completions*
** 9. A joins Bs game, finishes Bs tower quest = 1 more quest completion*
** 10. A and B join Cs game, finish tower quest = 1 more quest completion*
** 11. A B and C join Ds game, Finish twoer quest = 1 more quest completion*
A gets 14 completions
B gets 9 Completions
C gets 5 completions
*D gets 2 completions *
The most important thing is to split the games up before the soul each time, and then again for each tower quest. Never click on the first soul with multiple people in the game.
Right now Diablo 3 reminds me a lot of vanilla Diablo 2. Shitty uniques, OP blues, class/skill imbalance, server lags, QQs …etc.
The old Blizzard eventually made the game right. I’m going to wait and see how the new Blizzard handles this.
so erm… how is someone supposed to do rakanoth on inferno act 4? he instagibs me without any way to dodge (but to dodge which is like 7% chance : X)
It is. Dunno why people seem to feel that this game should already be 100% ready to go and complete and all future content be out now, and zero issues present. This is a fairly large game, and things will only get better.
PEOPLE WHO UNINSTALLED THIS GAME NEED TO BORROW A NUTSACK AND A FEELING
Azmodan rushing glitch will be easy to fix. They’ll likely just make a checkpoint after you kill him (anybody who’s done Izual runs knows how that works), so you would have to completely reload the game in order to pull it off.
edit: They turned off commodity auctions. So no buying/selling gems, tomes, or pages…until ???
fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu <------needs two tomes of secret
edit #2: Monk Bell sucks so much balls. It’s a waste of spirit, the runes on it still suck, and there are better moves to use. I use the spin kick with vulture rune, so it’s knockback and sets em on fire. EXCELLENT get the fuck off me tool
