Official Diablo 4 Thread : Hype train departing

I am also 2 items away from Staff of Herding (Normal). Just need the black mushroom, and gibbering gemstone

I want Liquid Rainbow!

Imagine if you took some Liquid Rainbow and stuff started looking like this:

just found it…took me awhile…do your friends a favour, and when u find it, invite them to ur game so everybody gets it

I just need Gibbering Gemstone, and Black Mushroom.

I do not like Blizzard’s knee-jerk hotfixes. At all.

jesus fuck my poor smoke screen

its still useful but…ouch.

maybe its time to look into shadow power + gloom as a backup…but that skill in general sounds bad

Just killed Diablo on Nightmare as Wizard. Looking forward to grinding Hell to 60 so I can start gearing up properly

I wouldn’t mind the SS nerf so much if so many people hadn’t already used it to get access to Inferno cow level :expressionless:

Oh shit. Give me your B.net info so I can grind out some gear for my Barb until I get my own copy here in a few weeks.

I’m sure Sovi3t, Clock and maybe even specs will appreciate my company. Especially if you guys use vent while playing!

HOLY FUCK, GET SOME ICONS ON YOUR DESKTOP, SIR. That is an insane looking desktop. So barren of life and soul.

I think they are good. Blizz wants every build to be on the same level, and pre-nerf there was only one viable build for each of those classes because those skills were so much better than every other available skill. Plus, the builds themselves do not fall under how Blizz wanted the game to be played (and they have a say in how their game is played). People were going straight damage and just using skills that allowed them to live forever (or dodge all damage), so that characters were having only 5-9k health in Inferno. Clearly something was broken and needed to be fixed.

This is still pretty true. DH only has about 8 or 9 skills that are worth using, SS still among them.

If they want there to be more viable builds they should consider buffing the dozens of runes and skills that are too weak or obsolete.

Nerfing survivability skills into the ground and making Inferno into a complete run while doing damage scenario for everything since having 90% damage reduction and 30k+ health still gets two-shot isn’t making the game fun.

Fair comments. I accept my judgement may be hasty.

I agree with Sleazoid. They need to look at boosting the weak runes.

case in point: whats the point of Mantra of Dodging for a monk, when most of the stuff that kills you can’t be dodged (exploding bodies, poison, AOE, etc)

Welp, I just solo’d Diablo. I didn’t even break a sweat. The unique mobs that I ran away from were much stronger. Drops were garbage though. I can’t wait to get raped in Inferno so hard I have to reroll a character.

Sent you an invite Soviet. kimterran#xxxx

Blizz has this to say about Inferno:

“We purposely launched the game with Inferno being far more difficult than what we were able to progress in ourselves, assuming people would find it as difficult but with a few skilled players able to pull it off, or the difficulty would simply help root out problem skills and builds that allowed flaw-filled progression possibilities…
The brick wall effect makes it seem like these broken skills were the correct way to overcome the difficulty because the belief is that Inferno must be an immediately surmountable challenge, which it isn’t intended to be. Or the reverse, that because these skills allowed progression the classes that did not have them were too weak/broken, which isn’t correct.”

Basically, 99% of people aren’t supposed to be beating Inferno at this point in time. Instead Inferno is stupidly hard so that Blizzard can find out which skills are too strong, then, after all the skills are in balance, Inferno will be tuned into a more playable state.

Damn it, Clu wants me to pay $$ to buy his account. I told him to let me use it for 2-3 weeks and he can have all the shit I find, I just want to fuck around with the full version of the game until I can get it myself :frowning:

Sovi3t and crew need me, Clu. I bet your ass will come back to the game once you hear me talking about all the GDLK gear I found in Inferno rolling with those guys.

Clu, I am disappoint :frowning:

People need to give this game some time. Sure it ain’t perfect yet. Neither was Diablo 2. It took time. I’m gonna side with the guys who’ve run the most successful MMO for years, as probably knowing what they’re doing, and not revealing all their hand. You REALLY think they spent over a decade on what you see before you? LMAO no.

I just need black mushroom, and I can do nightmare and normal unicorn runs. Anybody down, once I find that fucking thing?

I’d be down if Clu lets me use his account for a bit. Though I’m not sure how long I’d be able to stomach that place, what with all the PozerWolf avatars running around…

Also, yeah. Diablo III is going to be patched constantly. I mean, shit, their have already been a bunch of hotfixes already. Games 3 patches and 40 levels away from being GDLK.

lol just got black mushroom, doing cow run soon

I am wondering if Clu will come back with another name change again

Inferno.

You’re not supposed to be able to beat it unless you’re using a broken skill or exploiting the game.

GREAT strategy.

Still not understanding the edit to the Force Armor rune either. It’s saying that a single hit cannot exceed 100% of your life. This skill wouldn’t let it exceed 35% before. The only conclusion I can draw from this is…it doesn’t work at all anymore? It won’t let you get overkilled? It’s basically the same as if you had no rune on for Energy Armor? dafuq?
