Played a multiplayer game in beta today. Buying a new computer right now QQ.
Two cores @ 1.7GHz was enough for single player, but game takes a dump when there’s four dudes on screen all doing their own thing.
Four cores @ 2.9 should do much better :eek:
Got DH to 80 dps. Might be able to push it to 85 but fuck it, I’m done until launch. Beta ends May 1st and GW2 beta starts tomorrow.

yup, ill be on gw2 tommorow, already got it downloaded and ready to play. all i hope is the release date for gw2 is far from d3, cause i would hate to have to juggle both games, cause i really love both, i wouldnt know how to manage both at the same time.
You switch to GW2 from D3 whenever you’re a) tired of grinding boss runs and want to do some dynamic events b) Want to do World/Server PvP with hundreds of people instead of the small 4v4 Arena PvP in D3 or c) you want to actually socialize in chat because those Chinese prison labour loot farmers aren’t gonna be saying much when you’re playing with them. Partly because they all play in the same room and need to hit their daily loot quota to earn their bowl of rice.

Is it similar to Baldur’s Gate? Do you need a pimped out PC to be able to run it?

3rd person isometric top down dungeon crawler smash tv slaughter fest, complete with hundreds of thousands of items (if not more), and just pure fun gameplay.

Make a character, level him up, play with 3 other people, and kills bosses ad nauseum getting items.
And Blizzard never requires a pimped out PC, just have something built in the past 3 years.
