Official Diablo 4 Thread : Hype train departing

I just wanted to throw my battletag on here so that when the game drops I can play with some of you guys, I mean sure compared to you guys I’ll seem like a total scrub but I’ve always loved the DIablo series.

Silverstar#1360

I still don’t know what class I want to roll. WD or Monk, but everybody on earth is going to be a Monk.

I am going to be a Sorc more then likely, or whatever is closest to that. It is what I ran in Diablo II. Still cracks me up that I was the one tanking Bael runs with a Sorc, all the Barbarians and shit behind me lol. This was before the ice orb nerf.

Updated the Clockwork D page on my site. Now, you can’t get to it without the link. Making this the only place you can get to it.

I think they are foolish.

I was going to roll one first, just because I like the skill set.

But all those other guys are choosing it because the motherfuckers are either Logan nutriders, weeaboos, or functionally illiterate 09ers-onward, with a Shoto fetish.

But they’ll be disappointed as all fuck when EVERY OTHER CLASS HAS JUST AS KICKASS, IF NOT MORE SO, ITEMS AT ENDGAME.

When my barb gets his “I’m The Juggernaut, B****!” set, and am tanking inferno Diablo, and they’re getting one-shotted trying to get a fist on him, who’ll be laughing then? Eh?? EH???

/rant.

You have to be realistic about these things.

I just want a proper manual with C. Metzen’s godlike drawings inside.

Oh, and a martial class would be nice, though I predict the Templar for expansion.

Martial arts class… you mean like the Monk?

No. I mean like the warrior.

This is true.
I am going to be a monk, but I always pick monks in every game that has one (FFXI, NWN, RO, EQ, EQ2, WoW(if i played it))
So fuck the bandwagon jumpers.

too early to tell. Only seen a few abilities, and when you factor in all the abilities, and then the various rune variations of each ability (combined with how you use them with the OTHER skills with their OWN runes, as well as your passive skills), it really gets mind boggling. Potential for a LOT of different builds of each class.

I was in the same position…then I played a Wizard.
Usually I can’t stand casters in these sort of games, but holy crap- it’s as if they put Storm into the game.
So hard for playing a Wizzy.

Might go with WD but leaning towards wizard, gotta see Moar skills before I decide. It’s been years since I played a good hack and slash then we get D3 and Heroes of Ruin in the same year hype!

And Grim Dawn, which promises to be excellent, being developed by the makers of Titan Quest and all!

I’m going to play Monk but I’ll be playing Monk like a WoW Protection Priest dropping buffs and healing all over the place. That’ll be strictly a multiplayer character, for my single player hack and slash experience, I really enjoyed Demon Hunter but I want to get some hands on time with Wizard.

demon hunter for me. i love the feeling of Vayne from League i get when i play her.

Thinking about firing up D2 to brush up on the plot again. We should get a group going and blast through it at least on normal before D3 drops.

The last three skills in the calculator can be changed whenever I like?
Because they’re all good and I’m between 6 for my summoner build if I could try them would be purrfect

dam that sounds fun as fuck.

That’d take far, far too long.

'Tis a much better idea to get whatever pressing issues are in one’s backlog out of the way.

Because I might as well box yea ole consoles up, for all the play they are going to see for the rest of the year…

You have to be realistic about these things.

it wont take long…if we get a group of 8 and we all know what we doing. and if anyone has mules with low level gear, we would blow through even faster. although none of my mules have low level stuff…
