I will run through every last fucking enemy I see. But that’s cuz I usually get teh jump. You ever try to type a quick message, or change your runes, midfight? If enemies get the first few whacks on you, you will DIE. And this is still normal mode!
After a long day of work, I come home wanting to relax and play some D3. And the servers are down. Again.

I played on the Europe server while the Americas server was down. Your character and friend list does not carry over to a new server. Afterward, I switched back to the Americas server and resumed my original character where I had left off.
Funny thing, I have less latency when connected to the Europe server than I do when connected to the Americas server. God damn the Americas server sucks ass.

Level 5 wizard so far D3 is just okay, but I’m not really used to the HUD of Diablo and I’m sure it gets better when I start getting more powerful spells.
Anyone else getting kicked off every 10 mins or is it just me?
I was just kicked mid boss fight on a random dungeon spawn…
I was playing fine before I got off. I managed to complete act 3 without getting kicked off.
So I played around with my fire and forget wiz a bit more and got blizzard. Blizzard + Meteor + Hydra is really nasty. The act 3 boss went down very fast and made it very easy to dodge all his attacks since none of my skills required my to stay still and cast constantly. Archon is also pretty beastly.
I need to sort through my gear and craft some better equips to replace the gear I have. I noticed that the dps number is heavily in favor of flat damage and attack speed. It’s pretty funny that it makes it look like 5% attack speed will raise your dps by a huge amount (even though it’s actually not noticeable if you are casting spells unless you spam signatures) but something like 20 int seems like small raise in dps number, even though it would help something like meteor much more.
Alright, after making a new e-mail address and new battle.net account(because I forgot my old account and wasn’t able to reset it) I am now FINALLY downloading the “starter edition” installer. It wouldn’t install on my laptop for some reason, so now I’m installing it on my brother’s PC which has pretty beefy specs. Now I’m going to go take a shower while I wait for this to install, thanks for the key, Sovi3t! I’M HYPE AS FUCK HOLY SHIT!
If this game runs good on my brother’s PC, fuck it, I’m gonna go try to buy the game ASAP. I need to play this game, and if I have to use someone elses computer to do so, I will, goddamnit. I also hear the CE of the game is already going for 200+ on Ebay, so I should try to buy the game first before I do anything else. I’m thinking about trading in some games(which I never do) JUST for this game, goddamnit.

I just beat Leoric and it took me 6 hours to get there now that I’m at level 12 wizard is a lot more fun, even though ray of frost is kinda laggy when you 360 it. I guess that cinematic at the end of act1 will have to wait till tonight.

I beat King Leoric as a level 7 or 8 Barb, it took me 1 hour to get there. GG Diablo 2 skills, SON! The fuck were you doing for 6 hours?
Here’s my opinion of the game, as a 10+ year on and off Diablo 2 player: The game is fun, I like it. Aesthetics have grown on me a bit but overall I still think that the graphics are nothing special and that system requirements are too high for this type of game. The game feels really fast, and my barb goes ham 99.9% of the time. I’m bashing bitches for fury, then I go fucking HAM with the HAMMER OF THE FUCKING ANCIENTS while telling bitches to GET OVER 'ERE with my spear all while LEAPING on top of motherfuckers to start HAM time all over again. I love the re-used sound effects dating back to DIABLO 1. I don’t like how linear things are, and I don’t like that everything seems to be the same for every playthrough(I could be wrong.) Do monster spawns and maps ever change, or are they a 100% the same EVERY TIME? Because that would hurt replayability big time, imo. I’ll probably do another playthrough up to King Leoric to see if enemy locations change or to see if the maps changes at all.
pros: gameplay is fun
graphics are decent, though they could be better+a bit darker. I don’t mean darker as in less color or brightness, but as in things should look more “grim.” or “evil.” Sometimes I forget I’m playing Diablo III and think I’m prancing around in Torchlight 1 or something.

Game’s only going to get better with patches+expansions though, so I’m going to get it when I can. Someone gift me this damn game, I’ll repay you by giving you all my awesome items I find to sell on the AH. I’d say you’d make your money back in, oh, 1 week at the rate I play.
Played my Wizard to level 10 last night with 4 friends. Fun times. Two of them died to the treants poison flowers, including one case where they all ran into a cave, I fought said treants outside, ran in to retreat, and then when they left the cave BAM dead. 
Not intentional, but hilarious.
Level 11 is when I get Spectral Blade and can begin MELEE WIDARZ.
Also the Male Wizard appears to be voiced by Crispin Freeman. (EDIT - 'tis true, @crispinfreeman confirmed it on his Twitter.)
I love this WD set up I have.
Run in, soul harvest, fear, nuke EVERYTHING with zombies/bats, and pick off the remaining dudes with darts. With 5x soul harvest, and 5x orbs harvested, I hit well over 350 DPS and I just melt the planet.
Speaking of WD, thanks to a friend playing one I have to have enemy lifebars turned on.
Also Arcane Orb is awesome. I THROW GALAXIES AT THINGS.
Thanks to this thread my barb avoided poison death with treants haha.
He did die in a tomb with 20x skeletons. I wanted to leap at the edge of the pack so that I wouldn’t get trapped, but sure enough the dude just jumps right into the huge mob. I think I could have made it had I remembered what button the potion item was keybinded to. Was 100-0’d in 3 seconds.
Anyone thinking that slow two handers are kinda useless? All I’m seeing on streams are dual wielders.
At low levels it seems that way to me too. Maybe later on the slower 2Handers get a huge damage increase to a point where using Whirlwind with a 2H would be better than dual whielding, I dunno.
