SRK has turned into a big commercial advertising website… Damn, wtf.
People on the fence about buying D3… Don’t buy it, you won’t be missed.

Well if you want to play it that way I know exactly what happens in Diablo 3’s story. You want me to spoil it for you?
What fell from the Sky in the opening cinematic was Tyrael he cast himself out of heaven to prove a point to Imperious that he didn’t believe in how the Angels were handling things and said they weren’t worthy of his presents. He does his also after beating Imperious in a small fight. Tyrael acts as the Deckard Cain of this game because suprise Deckard Cain dies in the very first Chapter. You cremate his body at the start of Chapter 2. Tyrael is also black BTW.
Leah is Diablo, surprise surprise btw. Diablo implanted part of himself when he was possessed as the wanderer in her. She is not fully aware of it at the start of the game but eventually she gives in to what she is and goes complete baddy. She leads the attack on Heaven at which point Diablo defeats Imperious and takes over heavens tower. This serves as the final area for chapter 4, the corrupted heaven.
In the end you beat Diablo atop the tower banishing him forever. At that point Tyrael takes control of the Angels again but as a mortal among the ranks of Angels. Heaven is restored to normal and a new age begins with humans and Angels working together to make a better peaceful world.
BTW if you read that and thought I was trolling I feel very bad for you.
Pretty sure I just, like, you know, didn’t read it.
So does anyone know exactly how this auction house will work?
If I was a douche I wouldn’t have put a spoiler warning. I’m however just letting you know, everything storywise is known about the game. It’s all out there if you look. So playing the game for the story is a bit irreverent and I don’t see again how people enjoy PVE. Again it’s up to you but this is a discussion thread and I am discussion the game. I loved D2 as much as the next person and I can talk about the game all I’d like in a thread about it’s sequel which I have a distaste for the way it’s being handled.
Yup.
You post up anything you want to sell, and Blizzard doesn’t take a cut unless it sells.
For single items, such as gear, Blizzard takes $1.00 from whatever you sold it for. For stackable items, like gold and crafting items, Blizzard takes 15% from the purchase instead of the $1.00.
If you choose to cash out your Diablo money to PayPal, then PayPal takes another 15%.
That’s pretty much it.
I don’t think you understand.
Anyone know when the servers go up? Will it be Tuesday at 12 AM EST?
12 AM PST.
3:00AM Damn lol So East Coast has to wait 3 freakin hours after they get a hold of the game to be able to play it
Is this the only way to cash out?
As far as I know, yes. Otherwise the money stays on your Battle.net account to use at the Blizzard store or back in the RMAH.
Is this for true or is it but a falsehood? I must know for I shall be gaming or not in that time of releaseses. pukes
Little down the page under Regional Launch Times.
It’s true. I found the info on Blizzard’s site.
theres an actual spoiler tag function on this forum

Given how World of Warcraft Cataclysm went live (12 AM PST, rest of the US had to wait; Europe did get their own standard release time as well), I’d imagine Diablo III will do the same.
Big loool @ the guy that thinks the Diablo series has ever been about PvP. The Diablo series has never focused on PvP, and Blizzard has said they never will for Diablo III (although they do change their minds sometimes). Diablo has always been about grinding dungeons, getting loot, and blowing shit up. PvP was just something that was there. Remember how much they focused on the PvP aspect of Diablo II? Oh wait… they didn’t. The only bit of time they ever put into PvP in Diablo II was that you clicked a button to fight people. You’re definitely in the minority of fans that played Diablo II for “PvP”. Diablo has never been a PvP oriented game… so why are you so disappointed by the lack of PvP focus in the game. I pray to god Blizzard doesn’t go back on their word to appease people that want an excellent PvP experience in a PvE game; WoW has had so much development time compromised because staff has to balance the damn game around making sure abilities aren’t OP as fuck in PvP.
Yeah, EU servers will go live at a different time.
PvP was pathetic in D2. Make Paladin, max out blessed hammer, spam right click, kill all.
o yea i remember that fucking shit. i didnt know at the time thats how blizzard operates, man i was so dam pissed. i volunteered to stay at work till midnight just so i can get my copy, got home and was like WTF? this time around im more mentally prepared, not going to fool me twice blizzard mothafuckas.
To be fair, it was kind of your fault for not reading up on when the servers would go live.
