Official Diablo 4 Thread : Hype train departing

Just read wikipedia since this clippers game is kinda boring, so twinking is just using a high level character to get high exp and good equipment to a low level guy cool, but if you’re starting a new game like D3 isn’t that impossible?

  1. I dont have paypal anymore

  2. Id rather u guys all spend that money on urself. Ive taken OT all month so I can have extra money for D3. Just been a weird year for me.

A skill vid.

Strafe looks kind of weird.

Yeah i never would have pictured strafe like that.

I know that they were going for the whole tasmanian devil thing like the barbs whirlwind but watching it again I think I know what I have a problem with. If you look at the legs, it looks like she’s walking into all directions at once, instead of spinning like a top and looks really trippy since she’s actually sliding in one direction.

Watching that in full screen 720 has more hype for D3 then anything else I’ve seen and read combined:tup:

I was going WD on my second playthrough but now I’m going barb just for wrath of the berserker.

my god that strafe is nothing like i expected, but it still gets the same effect across, so i guess its cool. but man that wrath of the beserker, they really made barbs fun as fuck to play in this game.

haha strafe looks awesome

Shin Barbarian looks really fun. And you have to love the SSJ4 hair.

Maximum Monk should give him nice AOE. Actually, it looks like he has pretty good AOE in general.

lol at the other skill video’s comments saying the game looks unfinished

Chakram, the new Hammer?

Strafe did indeed look weird and Monk omnislash looked a little odd as well.

The abilities do look quite interesting compared to D2 though, I have to say.

Witch Doctor is a summoner? I may have to look into that as well.

I wish the giant toad was better. Like maybe it hopped around and did a small aoe stun, and some damage? Eating one enemy is pretty meh.

It’s essentially a five-second stun with a bit of damage tacked on to it, which is nice for removing problematic adds I guess. Then again, removing just one enemy from the fight isn’t cutting it in Diablo.

Is Fetish Army intended to be a distraction rather than a straight DPS boost? They don’t seem to do much damage from what I’ve seen/read.

The pets are secondary in the WD arsenal. They act as crowd control above all else while the WD dishes out the damage with spells.

Maybe the toad eats more than one enemy?

I also just found out that gear, mobs, bosses, mob abilities and other things only appear in later difficulties.

The wizard looks so whack :frowning:

Since when does whack mean Godlike?

You kids, and your new-fangled takes on established terms…

I am floating, with my eyes closed, with no sails. I am soaking, I am weathered, by the winter of mixed drinks.

Agreed. The Wizard from TL2 looks a lot better.

After playing Wiz a bit more I really started to like the class.

It’s no Witch Doctor.

But still good.

The music in Torch Light 2 rapes D3’s music for free. Kudos to Matt Uleman (D1/D2 music composer) for doing a great job with TL2.

Sounds pretty generic to me.

You can’t compete with Blizzards score. Ever. On any game.

For free? I don’t think so.
