LOL this for SURE. After playing RO, I also find myself unable to grind on ANY game. RO sure takes grinding to new levels… From what I’m seeing this game will be like WoW, you need to grind enough to see how shitty grinding is and how easy it is to just look for deals on the AH. I finally get a chance to play tonight and for the rest of the weekend so I’m excited to actually find out. :3
So I got to inferno. Game isnt rewarding. Sure champions are hard and you kinda feel some sense of accomplishment when you kill them. But they drop bs even with full nephalem valor stack. Sometimes they don’t even drop lvl 60 items. It seems that you should just buy gold find gear and farm all day for millions of golds and buy some upgrade cause champions don’t drop good shit most of the time. So all of this increases my boredom of this game. I liked finding nice loot in d2 but this shit here is way too random and rare.
It just might be me, but I want part of the game to be the reward for beating elite/champs. To me the AH is a way to skip that. I rarely go into groups, although I’d go if I knew more people (I don’t feel secure with all these people being hacked).
I probably just need to do some more act 4 hell, since I barely made it out of there.
Wait until the RMAH is up and there will not be shit in the regular AH. You will be forced to spend money to get gear.
I will put aside 10 dollars from every paycheque for Diablo items.

Getting hacked in DIII is to tame compared to getting hacked in D2 or most other games.

You’re crazy, odin. I’d never spend real $$ on a game outside of buying the game itself. You should just get D2JSP FG and buy DIII gold with it(check out the D3 section, it’s nuts. People also throw up random items they find and they sell them for either DIII gold or FG.)
i had a ring, that had a damage modifier of 2-4 damage and it increased my overall damage by 24…how does that work? it didnt have any other modifiers on it.

2-4 is the base damage (per hit). how much of a dps increase you actually get from that depends on many things.
Act 3 inferno is fun, i like how my demon hunter has 400 all resist and 36k hp and i still get one shot by most things…maybe i should just build glass cannon, i could probably have 120k dps instead of the 87k i have now…but 87k is more than enough to deal with act 3.
Damn at least on SRK you had to pretend to be a girl so the white knights would pay for your plane ride.
DH from what i see should just be full glass cannon. Can’t tank so all that resist and vitality means nothing since it’s OHKO regardless.
In a way it makes me sad cause that’s 95% of all class builds in Inferno.

I can understand that sentiment for the RMAH.
For the gold auction house in the state it’s in right now… I don’t. The gold we spend mostly comes from the same farming of elites and act bosses. This stuff doesn’t just appear out of thin air and we do work for the things we buy there.
Drop rates have to be lower in D3 because all loot is instanced.

Yea act 3 with Tyrese Negro Install is too strong. I got a 1.1k dps wand in a resplendent chest with 5neph stacks in those ice caves. I decided to use it instead of my 1.2k staff atm so I can spam signatures and arcane orbs. It’s also cool running with a shield to see what now doesn’t one shot me but I usually run with a source.
Rule of thumb for wiz imo is try to get enough defenses to survive 1 shot with force armor. Also press diamond skin when you run into an enemy that you know will kill your quickly like if it was a fireball from a molok that one shots you or a herald of pestilence trying to use the pool on you. It makes it so you get less “randomed” out and you can activate your “OH SHIT” skills after you took a hit you didn’t see coming.
I can get Rakanoth down to hitting me for 38k teleport swipes even though I only have 26k HP! I’m making progess to actually surviving this dipshit on inferno. I managed to survive a swipe in archon mode but since there’s no sustainibility and long cd probably not gonna work. I would try the ancient guardian trick but need different gear to remove my regeneration effects.
going with a DH, whats the best type of weapon for Inferno? 1H crossbow, 2H crossbow, or bow? Obviously I am using Sharpshooter
