Soooo hit inferno a few day ago. And yea… terribly under geared why do so many drops suck ass and why does the blacksmith never make anything good? I’m seriously avoiding all champion/elites I come across it’s so annyoing.
If you can’t kill any champions/elites in Inferno Act I, there is no point in doing Inferno. You’re gonna have to grind it out, get some gear, and learn the [S]glorious[/S] retarded ways of kiting anything and everything.
You mean go to the auction house and buy gear.
Because RL $$$ AH.

I refuse to go to the AH to get gear. I can kill certain packs (I can wear them down by reviving a bunch), but the items just suck. What am I going to do with a rare +health from globe, +gold, +int, +str socket? For fucks sake…
I don’t even know why Athene has fans.
And yeah I mean get some gear from the AH. Gotta sell gear to buy gear though. 
Still have to kite anything and everything in Inferno as well.
EDIT: If you’re not going to use the AH, you’re in for a long, long grind.
Just farm Hell for a bit then. Act 3-4 Hell mobs drop pretty good gear (armors, not weapons).

I’m used to kiting, so used to it infact that I can get an enemy stuck in a tree sometimes and he just has to sit there and eat deadly reach for 10 mins. But of course this takes time to do because I have to kill minons and not all elites will be in the wilderness. I guess I’ll have to go back to Hell and farm a bit for more +int +str and lots of DH gear (for some reason 30% of my magic and rare drops are DH items), kinda sucks.

despite being completely awful at the game his fans gave him the gear to solo inferno diablo in 2 minutes
which is why it’s funny that he got hacked, it’s like they were all collectively hacked at the same time
Then you are missing the point of the AH and the way blizz is headed in terms of farming gear. Blizzard has made the AH a priority this time around and have even said that you wont necessarily get the drops you want when you solo. You drop rare items so that you can put them into AH, have them sell and then buy your own gear. They way you are doing it, you are destined to grind for a long time to come. The numbers do not favor you at all. Why do you think that when you team up with a party, someone always gets the drop that you want?

He has world firsts in two expansions for hitting max level after release. Not impressive, but somehow he has fans. The only way he hits those world firsts is through help of friends that help him power level at the expense of their own game time. As far as actually being good at WoW (such as PvP or slaying dragons), I haven’t actually seen him do anything impressive.
So in short, you shouldn’t care about him.
It’s not the first time Athene’s taken advantage of charity, just sayin.
I’d accept all the hate in the world if I got the amount of $$ Athene rakes in from his fans.
