This game is crack. I just got the Plat, and almost finished up Playthrough 2. I found this sick Combat Rifle with a very fast rate of fire, combined with +5 metal storm and a 50% increased rate of fire/105% reduced recoil mod along with a lot of +skills on that class mod. I built my skill tree around it, and I completely destroy Playthrough 2. Crazy fast rate of fire, especially with Metal Storm up. It’s slightly slower than my SMG, but almost triple damage and the ammo clip is also 3 times the size.
When was this new DLC released? Sounds like some L4D shit where everyone needs to play perfectly to get anywhere. I want to pick up the first DLC, but man I’m hoping for a patch that makes the framerate steady on the PS3. The game is fucking awesome, but it’s sad how buggy and laggy it can be at times. I’ve had quite a few game breaking bugs occur, like getting stuck in terrain, or this one and only time I tried to pick up an instant health vial, but I had full health. My entire screen filled with random colors, constantly changing making it impossible for me to see anything or do anything.
I saved my game and reloaded, hoping that bug would disappear. Guess what? I saved the bug! I was worried as hell, no way I was gonna restart my game at the end of Playthrough 1, so thankfully that shit cleared up after running around a bit.
So, is it worth me getting the new DLC. I’m seeing mixed reviews so it’s like, ehhhh. I might get it for the sake of online playthroughs… But is it worth $10?
I got rushed to level 26 last night. Playing through the game on a stronger foot, soon. I join games with low-level characters so I don’t miss as much. It’s kind of frustrating when you join 3-4 games like that only to find the other 3 players jumping up and down on the first building they figure out how to scale.

Good shit man! are you a level 50 with all characters? Dont even think of going into the second playthrough of the dlc(s) with anything less btw for the zombie dlc make sure you have a kick ass fire elemental gun… i made the mistake of not bringing one in a playthrough and got eaten alive… literaly
Yeah, you have to face all those foes and no xp to show for it. Now if they raised the level cap (lets say to 70–80) up it would great to level up in the arenas.
Ive played a 4 player (all level 50) moxxi arena (2nd playthrough) with 3 hunters and 1 siren (health regen mods and scavengers/rare items mods on) we got shit weapons!! the best we got is an orange firehawk repeater :arazz:
No, I beat it twice on pc, sold that copy, then bought it on ps3 and beat it two more times.
Definitely my fav fps this gen. I’m a lv 50 soldier and I brought my hellfire smg to Jacob’s Cove, so I breezed through it in about 2 hrs. Now I’m about to do the bounty board missions. :tup:

I think my main shot gun was modded. Friend of mine just dropped his inventory for me and did the whole duping shit. So my main gun is this all elemental shot gun. But 98% of my weapons are just orange and purples. I think outta the 40something that I have, maybe 4 or 5 are modded. The guy I usta play with all the time would just farm for hours with our +2 rare find shields on. Too bad mine is gone. I think my brother accidently sold it while it was in my inventory and not on me. Haven’t been able to find another one since then.
But +42% team shield just seems so much better.
And Jae and I did rape 'em pretty hard. Can’t wait to do the next part with him.
