I am not sure of an official announment, but within 2 weeks of the games release there was a rumer that the second one is going to be started soon. It is supposed to be more of an open world experience. But it’s all rumor as far as I know.
Also, did you guys know that if you beat Playthrough 2 and reach level 50 before you kill the special monsters (such as Skagzilla, One-Eyed Jack, and Moe), then the monsters will drop level 48 versions of the special uniques (such as TK’s Wave, the Mad Jack, and Sledge’s Shotgun).
Some of the lvl 48 unique drops can have pre-fixes and/or elements.
Also I have read that the lvl 48 unique, The Dove, can drop as a BLR Hornet which is a special Hornet (Hornet is one of the orange pistols) with the Dove’s infinite ammo/no reload bonuses. I am not sure if any of the other 48 uniques can drop as special versions of the other uniques.
Yeah, I learned about that about a month or so ago while playing with some guys on XBL and we were killing Skagzilla. I was like, “WTF?” Took a bit for us to kill it though. Had a shit ton of HP.
Hope there is another BL. Maybe a few new characters to choose from? Or just make both male and female for the classes. I’d like to have a fighter chick.
It’d be kinda neat if we could mix and match different elements from the other class and make stupid OP characters. But none of the mosters are really THAT hard, imo.

Unlike most game DLC releases, the stuff for this game actually looks good and worth the money.
*Awesome…they even have boss characters in those arenas! That was great when Sledge comes out with some theme music and the spotlight shining on him.
It reminds me that we should have modern-day gladiator combat for real…all aired live on pay-per-view with a commentary team, big production values, etc.
on another note… I still prefer my combo of a sniper rifle and a shotgun with Brick. I haven’t really had a need for anything else in the mix…this obviously covers my long-range and short to mid-range combat options. I have one acid shotgun with a scope, another fire-element shotgun, and 2 or 3 sniper rifles.
That is what everyone is saying, but you’ve got to realize that they have only shown waves 1-6 in the videos. There are 25 waves in total, and they go up in difficulty, plus new rules are added as you continue through the waves.
When you buy the zombie DLC (non steam version, https://store.gearboxsoftware.com/), do you download a file (that could be backed up on a cd) or does it just patch your game right away?
