I’m getting a lot of help with people volunteering setups right now which is AWESOME. Can anyone help me with promotion? Keits won’t post BFS on the main page because his event in OHIO or wherever in the midwest is on the same weekend ( :tdown: ), so I need volunteers to help me post online, and who can distribute flyers at Gameworks, Gameclucks, and other non-traditional places you can think of.

4:00pm BlazBlue: Continuum Shift 2 (PS3), Tekken 6 (PS3)
Sunday:
11:00am Marvel vs Capcom 3 (xbox 360)
3:00pm Marvel vs Capcom 2 (Dreamcast), Super Streetfighter Turbo (Arcade)
5:00pm Vampire Savior (Arcade)

THANK YOU. I seriously can’t even IMAGINE some gamer out there who was gonna go to a tourney in freaking ohio before, but then was like “SEATTLE HECK YEAH”. Besides which, I don’t think Keits realizes SRK IS NOT HIS SITE…isnt he supposed to be promoting the fighting game community first, Keits second? I’m gonna ask Mr. Wizard…no wait, who else has front page posting privleges? My airthrow account does, funnily enough but I never used it. 
That’s right. Unfortunately the venue fee is out of my control, if we don’t get a good turnout I am going to be paying for the shortcomings out of pocket (which I don’t mind), so look at it my way, you are at worst out of 20 bucks, I am at worst out of a stack.
If BFS takes place next year my top priority is making the venue cheaper. Unfortunately because it’s part of an expo this year I have zero control over the venue fee, it was either have BFS and pay this venue fee, or have no BFS. But it’s getting a lot of people I’ve never heard of to already pre-register so I think the turnout will be good. Either way it isn’t just a local tournament.
Plan is hopefully to be done by 8 or 9pm both days, but who the heck knows. I can keep the room open 24 hours if I feel like it over the weekend, but basically I am trying to finish tournaments as fast as possible, I HATE tournaments that take forever, I don’t have your legendary cardio and I get tired and sick of videogames by the time I finally get called to play. I run a tight ship when I’m running tourneys, I don’t play that diva stuff showing up whenever you feel like playing. Go hard or go home.

You can take it home of course if you’re that worried about it but if you’re going to get your venue fee waived, I need to know your monitor is going to be there both days. The tournament room is pretty close to the front desk and it will be locked when we’re done, you should be fine leaving it there (I’m leaving my arcade cabs and other equipment)

One question about the BFS tourney. Where is the SSFT arcade machine coming from? I’d love to be able to get in on some 1on1 practice before the end of the month. Do you have a regular meetup spot/night of the week?
I believe there is an ST cab at acme bowling & they usually go on Monday’s…
