The timing for gachi is pretty hard… That was a sweet parry.
And yeah, if you tapped forward, it would have thrown me to the wall, I’ve been trying to get a good arial combo going with Freed but no luck 
You’re right. You just have to remember that a Gachi Drive has a wee bit of startup so you have to time it right otherwise you’ll get beaten out by your opponents faster attack(s).
Found this game for $30. Is it even worth it or should I not even bother since MvC2 seems around the corner?

It was like that when the game first dropped.
The only matches I played online were ones I set up on the forums. This game just didn’t take off with the mainstream crowd.
Parrying the super isn’t actually that bad. The hardest part is the first parry - you actually have to parry slightly before the super starts. Basically focus on the movement of End of Deathbringer’s sword during the super startup, and try to anticipate when he’s going to slam it into the ground. Once you get that first parry down, the rhythm for the rest isn’t hard at all.
Picked this up for $25 with a coupon today at GS. Not bad. No SF4 but good to take a quick breather from it and try something different.
I just got this game acouple days ago…after fucking around in practice mode for a bit, so far my favorites are Don…uhh, that fat dwarf, lol, Marco and Urs. I won’t be playing until I’m finished modding my stick, but add me anyway!

wow people are picking this game up. guess the sf4 hype finally flame out.
Problem is that this game got sandwiched between BB, HDR, and SFIV hype. It never had a chance. It doesn’t help that most people don’t like it at all.
Its older than all of them. It was pretty much done at arcade release (2 yrs. ago).
As a eurogamer, I got this game today on my PS3. I notice there are no PS3 trophies for it which disappoints me, because there are obviously Xbox 360 achievements for that version.
