I know this was asked before, but I’m hoping for different answers. Are you guys using sticks to play this, and are there any lagless ps2>360 converters on the market?
ps2 to 360 converter does exist, check tech talk. its called XFPS sniper or something and costs…$90. or you can buy one of those hori EX2/DOA/VF5/SC4 sticks for $50ish which despite being pieces of shit are good enough
the story mode is pretty decent, a lot better than most fighting game story modes. there are little skits (is that what theyre called?) between battles that tell you whats going on with the story instead of the usual “fight a bunch of random characters, fight 1 specific character, fight boss, see ending” deal.

I need to start doing the combos. I was messing up like crazy. And I had a hard time getting hcf/b moves off. I need a stick.
P.S. Whenever I was charging up (214K) after a throw…you should have hit with with Urs’s shoulder charge every time. I am almost certain that Urs wakes up with enough time to hit me right as I am finishing the move (but before I can block). Probably could have got a heat combo off.

finally played this online but could only get one match. after that, everybody disappeared

its pretty hard to find matches online, the only people i have played are buktooth, mighty012, pigg, and some guy’s marco
i should really play some characters other than deathbringer. i picked him because he does a lot of damage without having to press that many buttons (and WOOOOOOAAAAHHHH!) but i feel like im missing out on a lot of stuff.
P.S. I was right about that combo. Doing a Far C at the end does more damage than j.D. Which makes sense since Far C does more damage in general.

And to any fellow Europeans wondering, BF is coming early 2009 to the EU and there is an Online mode. However since 505 Games are “ensuring the overall experience is as close as you?ll get to playing a Japanese arcade game in the streets of Tokyo” there may not be any tweaks.
So, if an online game like BF has some differences gameplay wise between the PAL and NTSC regions, that means we won’t be able to play online against those people with different versions right?
