i was gonna stick around until random gave me every character once. apparently it wanted me to play marco a whole lot and didn’t want me to play olivia lol. hope i gave you a good sampler of what everybody’s capable of (my marco and watson suck though)
you’re not using enough of deathbringer’s moves; 214K power up is a huge part of his game, and you rarely use it. you usually just dash up in situations where you can power up for free. also instead of using 5B 5D as your b&b (unsafe vs pretty much everybody but watson), you should use 2B into verifiable 623C
anyway yeah, experiment with other characters if you want. this game is really easy to play, so even the fanciest-looking characters like coyori and ashley only take like 30 minutes to pick up. also everybody’s fun to use except maybe marco and watson
Just Add everyone from this thread (as well as the thread on LiSyaoran’s forums). Then, when you see someone on, send a message asking to play. That’s the easiest way to get good games.
EDIT: LiSyaoran, why do you not include the best combos in your “Simple Vids?” Most of the combos that you show are not the best that can be done from a certain situation (I’m looking at you Deathbringer

I haven’t done any technical searching the web on combos or anything, so most of my material is just shit I find out while in training mode for about an hour.
its ok im terrible too and i always end up playing the really good people who are like #2 and 4 on the trueskill ranking
so anyways im using face now. his fighting style reminds me of this low budget movie called equilibrium, which is better watched as youtube clips of “the cool stuff” instead of as a movie.
im having trouble fighting freed. yeah i know do high parries, and i can usually get a parry combo in, but overall i still cant stop his rushdown. i dunno i get a feeling all his moves are just “better”, kinda like fighting a gundam when youre in one of those “other” mobile suits
