Oooooh, now I see what’s happening - in the US version the names are reversed, so the heat up super is called “Final Strike”. I probably should’ve mentioned that earlier, sorry.
Also, getting the three time attacks achievements is really easy.
Step 1) Pick Ashley.
Step 2) Down+D XX QCF+P
Step 3) Repeat*
*May need to through in some heat-up combos against End of Deathbringer.
I posted a mid-screen High Gatchi Drive + Heat Up combo on the Fantasia forums; it does a little more damage than yours (it’s about the same difficulty).
Also, I think that we should stick with the US version special/super names, and not Japan. Most of us are only going to know the moves by US names anyways. Also, US version has Final Strike as the name of the Heat Up super.
i got the time attack achievements with like 1.5 minutes to spare with urs:
start round with heat up + shoulder, then do heat up combo:
236C -> 214D -> 623C
then dash them into the corner, then do meaty close 5C, verify 623C on hit. cpu generally won’t block it, then repeat. if they block it, i just jump in and do the same thing
against end of deathbringer , wait for horse move and parry it, or a random charge up then heat up + shoulder. easy
i think ashley’s the easiest to get the perfect hero achievement, where you have to perfect end of deathbringer and parry the super
the number of parries on the horse move is kinda random against most characters. against ashley its always 6, wait, 3, unless deathbringer was really close. you can hit the romance wing combos in the same situations that urs can, and after deathbringer gets up he pretty much never blocks a 2D, so you get another romance wing combo. you just need to heat up like 2 or 3 times, then wait for the inevitable super

got the game today! have a lot of catching up to do. played around with Face (TEXAS LOL), Urs, and the manliest character in the game, Ashley. Hes so manly, he needs a girl’s name to keep his manliness in check. otherwise it would spread and turn all the women into men.

edit: ok so the tier list thing says Urs has good “hit confirms” and “huge combos”. could someone point me in the direction of these? the only things i found with Urs were AB/BB/BA XX flying chainsaw thing, and CH B shoulder ram > D shoulder ram
havent decided on who to play yet, although im liking face and urs. donvalve looks beastly too, 6k hp and hits from halfway across the screen. not to mention a super that does half life if you spin the stick.
