If I didn’t already have a stock pile of sixaxis boards, I’d offer to buy it.
forget it i read the faq
24mm
Thanks. Do you know what size screws I would need for the 2 holes in it? Or would it come with them?
Any news on orders? Placed mine last week but haven’t received a response yet. I ordered package A so I assumed it would be shipping fairly quick.
I just noticed you asked this quite a while back but thought to still answer it (sorry it took so long). But to answer your question ~ Yes, I did put something under the AXISdapter. A Wire Tie Mount I bought from RadioShack with a Zip Tie to secure it from moving around. I also used one (or 2 can’t remember) on the SixAxiS PCB itself that you can just about make out between the L & R Analogs with one of the extra SixAxiS screws to secure it to the Wire Tie Mount itself.
Hi ShinJN,
I just wanted to jump in here and say thank you for an excellent product. I purchased 2 AXISdapters (package B) off you in March last year. I’ve only just recently had the spare time to collect my other parts (and learn to solder!) and put it all together in a make-shift box to test it.
I tested it in SF4 today and it all works flawlessly. I’m now really motivated again to get my box finished ASAP so that I can start using it properly.
Cheers
Has anybody figured out how to hook up external LEDs to show you what controller you are?
Yes, its been done already in a TE setup using the turbo led’s to show player number.
Any chance someone could refer me to that? I’d really like get some LEDs on the outside of my box to show me the controller and let me know if it’s running out of batteries.
theres no guide that shows how to do it. I’ll be making a guide to show how I do it for a dual and triple wireless TE mod, but not any time soon.
I have not been able to read up on all 41 pages, but can you tell me the pros / cons compared to Toodles’ Cthulhu adapter? I am very interested in one of these.
Also - my goal is this: A stick with PS3 Sixaxis built in so it is truly wireless when in PS3 mode, and then a DIN adapter so I can connect to other arcade controllers.
Does anyone have a solder location guide for the Dual shock 3 without the pin connector? I would love to use this adapter but can’t. That being said I have a PCB for a dualshock 3 sixaxis and I would like to know where the correct solder points are so I can just do it manually and not waste the pcb.
Will the button still get responsive Still?
Hi ,Im in the process of doing wireless sixaxis stick too. Im was wondering if my sanwa button still be responsive if it was like hook up to direct wire?
Wsup toodle , Im in the process of ordering my mod part to do my own stick…I planing on doing wireless AXISdapter . but using sanwa button. Will my sanwa button still be responsive through the sixasis wireless as it would be if it was on wire connection?
any lag
I just got all my part in for doing wireless sixaxis modding… i have sanwa and seimitsu button, i want to know if my sanwa will still be responsive in i go wireless…if it not than i go seimitsu button…
From reading through all the posts inregards to the Axisdapter there is no noticeable lag as was tested.
I have this in two sticks I’ve modded and it works just as good as it my wired TE stick. It’s every bit as responsive and absolutely no lag. I know it’s hard to believe but wireless technology has come a long way. Nobody ever complains about a PS3 controller and wanting to go back to a wired one do they? Well no reason why this thing doesn’t work. Toodles even tested this for us!
