could any vshg owners who’ve successfully modded their sticks hit me up? i just got my axisdapter board in yesterday, cannibalized a sixaxis board and am ready to throw this bitch into my vshg. i have no idea how to remove my vshg board, or the correct wiring scheme either though-- but i’m guessing i need to get my ass out to pick up a soldering iron later today to do it…
sent a email cant wait =) gonna try to do it on the te
Just installed one on a se sf4 fightstick but the ps button isn’t working at all. Anyone seem to know what’s the problem?
^ Open your stick up and lets see some pics.
I just got my home button to work. did you install another button or are you using the home button that was already on the se fightstick?
I got my home button to be the original home button that was already on the fight stick, the se fightstick board under the turbo and home button is the only thing that i reused. All i did was solder two wires. one for each of the contact for the home button. It works perfectly.
now All i’m looking to do it wiring up the staus lights to work like on the sixaxis controller. Does anyone know how i can do this?
Anyone else still have problems with their SIXAXIS dropping out for a few seconds randomly? I’ve got a launch SIXAXIS and have always had this problem from day 1, it’s a well known issue but wanted to know if there was any kind of fix.
I’ve had no luck finding a DS3 with 20-pin connector (since my DS3s never drop). Anyone ever try some trick soldering on the newer non-20-pin DS3s?
Also, I’ve got a white Japanese DS3 (early batch), anyone happen to know if these have 20-pin connectors?
EDIT Looks like I might be in luck with the white DS3…but I love the white shell, damn.
Anyone hear from shinjn in the past week? I’m trying to get 2 more of these axisdapter but unable
to get a hold of him.
finally jerry rigged my vshg+axisdapter setup together last night and it works! i was lazy and left L1/L2/Select out though, so now i have some dead buttons.
i had one HELL of a time figuring out how to situate both the axisdapter and the sixaxis board inside the vshg (not a lot of extra space in this thing). i ended up having to cut some plastic pieces out, and both boards are kind of dangling, floating in space. the last thing i have to do now is set up a jack at the front of my stick so i can hardwire a usb cable if necessary (for charge or wired controller tourneys only).
I have just gotten back from my vacation. I’ll be responding to e-mails within the week.
Same here, try to mail him 1 week and half ago, but I got no answer so far.
I’ll let you know if i heard of him
Edit : ok nvm, hope you had good vacations
shinjn can u pls check your email?? i emailed you regarding purchasing a axisadapter a week ago thanks alot =)
e-mails replied to.
i have an off and on again problem with my newly modded stick randomly holding crouch for 1-2 seconds when i am trying to do something else. i suspect this may have something to do with how ground and i think down share the same whole thingy on the board. can anyone help?
I got a question maybe somebody tried it with Hori Wii/FS3 sticks.
In FS3 you have start, home, ps etc buttons located to a small pcb which seems to be common ground. Would it be possible to link Auto and turbo buttons from it to L1 and L2 using sisaxis adapter and sisaxis PCB remembering they will be on the same ground as start, select and PS button.
Payment send :cybot:
How are you wiring your joystick to the AXISdapter? Are you only using CMN(L) for the directions?
This should work just fine since you can use either CMN(L) or CMN® for the start, select, and PS buttons.
Hi ShinJN,
Thanks for providing this adapter to the gaming community, it’s really nice of you to do.
I’m going to try and build a replica of an old Stargate / Defender console and add a few buttons to make it fully PS3 compatible. Then I play Stargate on Williams Classics on the PS2 emulator, and it should be good. Plus with the USB connector, and Windows drivers…
I sent the payment for package C yesterday…
Can’t wait!
