Official AXISdapter Thread: SIXAXIS/DS3 Hacking Made Easy (ONLY PACK A avail)

If anyone needs a pin out six axis controller, let me know, I have two from launch that I want to get rid of on the cheap.

I apologize for not monitoring this thread and others due to my lack of time to invest in my hobbies. Thank you Toodles for answering questions.

I will be bringing a bunch of AXISdapters to EVO this year. If you would like to purchase some, please bring cash. If youā€™ve been to the past 10 B/EVO tournies, you know who I am. If you donā€™t, Iā€™ll be running around or in the staff area.

See you guys at in Vegas.

going to try this on my te stick, wish me luck >_<

I got my axisdapter, assembled it, and installed it on my custom stick in less than 30 minutes today. It was very easy, thanks for the incredible product!

Hi ShinJN !! You got eMail!

Thanks Shin for the adapter!!!

just got done installing mines. ps button works to turn on ps3 but no longer works after that. anyone know why?

either you mix up ground and signal or while closing your stick something touching your ps3 pcb thatā€™s what hapen to mine tho

that fixed it, but now my l1(3xpunch) is like square(low punch) and l2(3xkick) is like x(low kick)

That is definitely a problem of using the wrong common line. The two wires going to your L1 button have to be the ones labelled L1 and COM(L). The two wires going to your L2 button have to be the ones labelled L2 and COM(L).

If you used COMĀ® where it should be COM(L), then it will behave like other buttons, just like you described.

all my wires are still in the block that came with the te would i have to remove both of the ones on there or could i just take out 1 for COM and leave 1

So you have the ribbon cable going into the axisdapter? Look at the distribution block. There are two rows where the QDā€™s plug in. The row furthest from where the ribbon cable plugs in are all connected as the TE ground. Locate the pair of wires for the L1 and L2 buttons, and pull out the one on the ground row from each button; leave the one from each button going into the non-ground row.

Take those two wires, clip off the hanging QD, strip the insulation, grab a spare wire and strip the insulation off of it, and solder the exposed wires together. Wrap in electrical tape, and run the free wireā€™s other end to the COMĀ® terminal.

Or do what I do and buy a couple of button plugs and forget about L1 and L2.

it works now but it still comes out low punch and low kick. is there a fix for that where itll be high punch and high kick or do i just have to live with it?

i think this should be easier just unplug l1 and l2 from the stock wiring block of the stick and wire them directly to the axisboard

alright ill give it a try

everything is working now =) thanks guys.

Thanks bro ā€¦

can u please post some pictures of yours?

i am thinking abt doing this for my TE stick too, i am afraid of something going wrong.

the other side is nothing specialā€¦just a PITA to close back up again.
