I recall reading that one of the members found a less than 1 millisecond delay. This proved no problems for any of the Street Fighters, but did a little with some of the 1 frame moves from Virtua Fighter. As I said, I might be wrong as I’ve absorbed way too much arcade stick and Street Fighter knowledge in the last week.

PS: Since search is down on the forums, use Google by trying:
“search terms site:shoryuken.com” (minus the quotes).
With sanwa stick/buttons and axisdapter mod I was able to execute all moves with greater efficiency than with the stock ps3 sixaxis controller except for those aforementioned moves.
I can’t believe how far VF and SF have come. I remember working in an arcade when we got the first VF in. I’d open the arcade an hour early or close it an hour late to get some time in on it…
Tangent aside, I’ve got a question for ShinJN.
Does the version (A,B, or C) have a bearing on how long it takes to get our AXISdapters? i.e. since you don’t have to do assembly, do the A and B versions go out before the C versions?
Could someone plz help me, im having some technical difficulties that i cannot get my head around…
Basically iv made my arcade stick wireless using the AXISdapter that ShinJN made and all was working well till today when my battery ran out and i tried connecting the stick to the ps3 via usb…
It?s not charging and i don?t understand why…
The usb wire is a 5 meter 5pin MINI USB 2.0 Cable… i first thought that cable was dead but i tried connecting it to my ps3 dualshock 3 pad on my pc and it works and charges just fine… but when it gets to connecting it to my ps3 it just don?t work…
Now could it be that the wire is too long and there is not enough output on the ps3 usb port to power the pad or maybe the usb port is a different version???.
Just figured out that the usb cable works on most of my PC?s USB ports except one out of the two ports that is located on the front of my XPS pc…
I?ve tested the port that the ps3 controller don?t work on with other devises and it works fine but for some reason it don?t charge the ps3 controller using the 5 meter cable when i connect it…
Very nice! Will add this information to the first post.
Yes, this is the answer. In order to pair up the controller with the PS3, it must first be plugged into the console with the USB cable. Once the console recognizes it, it will be paired to that PS3. You will only have to push home to turn it on for future usage. You can do this either before or after taking the controller apart. It doesn’t matter.
You are added. =D
Nope. I put all the kits together in one go. I solder and pack everything and then let everyone know they are ready to go. This usually triggers a bunch of payments and results in me dropping off 10+ packages at the post office per trip. lol.
It might be the length of the cable. Have you tried the stock cable that comes with the PS3? The longest cable I have on my joystick is 6+3=9 ft and it works fine.
Im sorry if this sounds like a stupid question and has been answer before, but are there any good information on how to mount this setup inside a case, maybe inside any of the hori cases?
How would I mount it so that I can still plug it in using the usb port from the sixaxis pcb? or do I have to buy some kind of adapter to mount to the case then wire it to the pcb usb port? Any information would be helpful, I’ve tried searching this forum but every time i try to load a page on these forums it says the server is busy and try again later. It’s really irritating, so I figured I should just ask to make things go fast.
This is how I mount it in a Hori Wii Fighting Stick. I used double sided time and super glue to clue down both the original sixaxis PCB and the adapter, then I run a short 3 foot USB cable I got from monoprice.com and used the existing hole already there and I tied a knot and loop around the screw post so in case some one accidentally yank the cable, it won’t move the PCB.
Here’s a picture of it:
And here’s the picture of short cable coming out of the finished Wii Fighting Stick
thanks for the responses, it’s very good to see what people have attempted…Im really trying to retain a clean look without any cords coming out of it, I wanna try to mount it with the mini-b port exposed thru a small slot in the case, so I can plug it in only when i need to sync it or when I need to charge it. Has anyone managed to do this and retain a clean looking case?
hi, i’m living in canada and i just want to know if i order 1 Package C and ship by Express Mail International Flat Rate Envelope,
how much cost and how long can i get after i paid?
thank you
I asked this question in the padhacking thread but I was also
wondering if anyone in this thread knew if it was possible to
run a flash joystick with a sixaxis pcb? I would obviously need
one of those huge ass sparkfun batteries. Does the sixaxis pcb run
enough volts to power it? Would be so kick ass to have a wireless
stick with a flash in it.
