Got my package yesterday, now I’m just waiting for the rest of my parts to come in. I’ll probably start working on it next weekend.
Thanks ShinJN!

just got my toodles board. i cant wait to hook it up. excellent work.
Got my boards in. Might be a while before I get to use them. Thanks!
@ShinJN: I just read about your pcb and did some research in Germany. I found a few hardware stores which I still need to contact and ask about shipping to private persons. Could you help me out a little and tell me if these FCCs are correct so far?
http://esskabel.de/ffc-fdc/datasheet/ffc-raster-100/146 - these are somehow customizable in length and width
http://www.proconnect-electronics.de/content/produkte/ffc/2230.htm - leads to different data sheets (PDF)
http://de.farnell.com/molex/98267-0365/jumperkabel-ffc-1mm-raster-20pol/dp/1079974 - I think this is the best hit so far, now I just need a socket or something similar to solder to which is big enough, unfortunately I have no access to any SMD equipment. http://www.hbe-shop.de/ is responsible for selling their parts, but I have to do some research about available ones.
Thanks in advance!
put me on the waitlist for the C package plz.
has anyone modded VSHGs with this yet? easy?
Received my board. Looks good. Thanks.
Those look good. I can make out that they are 1mm pitch, so those are good to go. As long as they are 1mm pitch, you’re all set.
You got it. If you intend on using this for a VSHG, it’s as easy as taking out the current PCB and putting the SIXAXIS and AXISdapter in it. I was planning on adding this to a VSHG, but I’m still waiting for Mark to get it to me. Looks at MarkMan :bgrin:
Sweet. Let me know how it turns out. Post some pics if you could. Thanks!
assembled the board, the process is quiet simple, the only trouble I had is because I used
a needle tip that is way too small, so not enough heat is conducted.
now, waiting for my DS3, hopefully this one is the right one
toodles told me the six axis one works, not the newest ds3.
He knows that. He just took a gamble on the DS3 he bought and he’s stated that. This information is also in the first post.
thanks shinjn!
and since there’s no soldering involved, its pretty simple right? i literally just reconnect everything to your board?
It should also be noted that the variable resistors on Sixaxis PCBs are easier to remove. All DS3 PCBs have some weird four-pronged variable resistors on them.

Yup! Well, you do have to consider that there is now more than 1 ground.
Thanks ShinJN, I just got my board today. So quick. I’ll put it to good use.
ShinJN,
I got your PM but as a recently registered member I cannot yet reply.
Please check your email for my reply.
Thanks.
wohoooo!!!
They arrived today.
Many thanks.
now, just to wait for my stick/buttons options to get back in stock
excellent service ShinJN:tup:
Now I know I have to get one soon. Possibly at the end of the month. Can’t wait.
Hey Toodles,
This one is back in http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/pro...oducts_id=8483
I really want to mod the sixaxis with this battery but I’m not
100% it will work.
