For those that get their boards, please try them out and post your results here. I’m dying to find out what you all think.
Like ShinJN said, using this in a dual pcb setup is pretty much impossible. However, you’re going to want a USB jack on your stick, or at least a small pigtail of a USB cord hanging out so you have the possibility of recharging the batteries. You CAN use this to plug into a PC to recharge, and with the proper SIXAXIS or DS3 drivers, play on a PC.

Does anyone have any good ideas where and how to mound the SIXAXIS PCB on a Street Fighter 15th anniversary arcade stick?.. if anyone has picturs that would be real good!
There’s a ton of space in that thing. You can mount it anywhere!
Can you post some pics of it, I’m trying to get some ideas as to where I should mount everything.
ShinJN
Ye but where would you do it??? lol… And you said that the analogue sticks need to facing the ceiling when the arcade stick is set on table etc right?..
Oh no no. I think you misread my document. Those instructions are only for assembling the two boards. I wrote those instructions because it is possible to insert the flat flex cable incorrectly. The picture in the first post shows what it should look like after you assemble everything. After assembly, you can mount it anyway you want inside the case. lol. Sorry for the confusion.
OOOOOOh ok ok… that makes life easier. i thought because of the Sixaxis’s motion censor feature the pbc have to be facing the correct position…
Hey ShinJN, got my package today. I honestly don’t know when I’ll put it to use since I’ve had my UPCB from Toodles put together since he first made them and never put it to use. All in all though very nice dealing with you. I’m sure I’ll love it whenever I get around to putting it in something.

Well, no fighting games I know use the motion sensing thing. If you plan on using the joystick on a motion sensing game, wouldn’t it be too much work lifting the gigantic box around? lol.
Thanks for the kind words, Paik. Glad the package got to you. :wgrin:

thanks
I posted a seperate thread about this but I suppose it could have gone in this thread instead
But I have been wondering if anybody has considered a PS3 bluetooth remote for their custom stick and if anybody has opened one to see if it has a ribbon type connector similar to the sixaxis?
I have shipped the following orders today:
mamut5 - 3 (A)
Jayducky - 1 ©
gns - 2 (B, C)
TheRealNeoGeo - 4 (A, B)
PaPiTo_~P~ - 1 ©
truklord - 2 ©
Brilliant!!!
Many thanks.
The analog stick stays in the center if I push it back.
I was looking at the Slagcoin site earlier, but I don’t know where to find what I’m looking for. I found a diagram of a SIXAXIS PCB, but how do I find out what resistors I’ll need and where to solder them?
As long as the stick stays in the center when you push it back AND it does not register movement, the PCB is usable. No need to remove anything.
Thanks ShinJN. Received my package yesterday. Going to work on it this weekend. Need to add resistors to the pcb since I removed the analog sticks in my haste to get the SIXAXIS apart.
