Fantastic season, muuuuuuch better than 6. Honestly, if Bauer can’t make it for next season, it’ll be just fine. I remember I have the first five seasons to watch too eventually.

[details=Spoiler]I think Walker has finally graduated from a PSYCHO APPRENTICE and into PSYCHO KNIGHT in her final scenes. Turning in her badge to (most likely) torture Alan Wilson is like what Jack did in S4 when he broke the one guy’s fingers in his car after resigning from CTU/DOD. Kim may have escaped her captors but she’s still a PSYCHO YOUNGLING. The curse remains strong with her, every airport security guard got shot trying to save her and the cop she ran to at the parking entrance was also shot.
I think after extracting the information from Wilson they should just let Tony kill him. His dilemma isn’t much different from Jack’s. If you remember back in S1 Teri told Jack she was preggers with another kid. It took Jack 4+ years to finally get his revenge on Nina (whom he killed after she had no information left to give).
Some season 8 notes. It’s going to take place in NYC, CTU is back and will be a couple years after 7 instead of the 6 weeks later that was initially planned. There was a casting call for a child to play a 4 year old grand daughter Bauer and she’ll have some lines of dialogue, which explains the time skip.[/details]
Liked it, although I didn’t like the 3-4 cliff hangers though hopefully they’ll all get resolved next season.

i’m pretty sure renee left the room and closed the door instead of doing what you mentioned. and where’s the source on season 8 being couple years after season 7? most spoiler sites mention season 8 takes place soon after season 7 (few weeks or so) rather than a couple years.

EDIT: nevermind, i found some sources that say season 8 might be 12~18 months after season 7 or maybe even a couple years.
More importantly, what can we expect from S8 if Kiefer has to do jailtime for giving a snooty fashion designer the Crazy Buffalo…

My thoughts, so spoilers on everything here…
[details=Spoiler]I had to pause watching the episode at the halfway point (between the last two hours), but during that pause, I almost figured that Tony was fooling everyone. And the way he shot wig girl was just cold blooded, especially the way he looked at her like, “Uh huh. Surprise.” But the kicker really was when he revealed Michele was pregnant. And give Carlos Bernard some credit… he sold that scene well. I just wish Jack has the same smarts to shoot CURTIS in the fucking hand instead of the neck. That was still one of the WORST plot developments in 24 history.
I gotta say, though, that I really liked the way Kim Bauer panned out in this episode. Not only was the utterance of the classic line of “DAMMIT!” awesome, she straight up went Red Eye on the female operative lady, stabbing her with a pen. And then chased after the guy, got her arm burned, and walked up to Renee and acted like nothing was wrong. And when she she told sexy hot Asian doc it was her choice, I was almost sad she didn’t say, “NOW!” in typical Bauer fashion.
And hot damn, Renee Walker. When she pulled out the gun and told Janis to handcuff herself to the pole, and put down her badge, I almost let out a loud, piercing cheer. She has officially joined the PSYCHO team is power and awesomeness. And from what I saw, I was pretty sure she closed the door BEHIND her, inside the room with Alan Wilson. You’d never think the show would have been able to pull of making anyone seem anywhere near Jack Bauer’s equal in terms of badassitude, but somehow in just one season, they’ve managed to do it for Renee. I am definitely in love with Agent Walker. :lovin:[/details]
Anyhow, really good ending, really good season overall. Yes, there are holes all over the place, yes there were some ridiculous moments, but I don’t really care. It was entertaining, and it didn’t suck like Season 6. 
I didn’t buy that season on DVD even though I got seasons 1 through 5, but I’ll probably pick up this season tomorrow.

A double-barrel dosage of the BAUER POWER HOUR!
HOUR 23 opens with UMBRELLA JACK needing to bust DARTH ALMEIDA out of the feds custody - again! UMBRELLA JACK pulls his usual GTA TACTICS to muster an escape, yeah yeah yeah. BLONDIE wonders why DARTH ALMEIDA hasn’t killed THE PSYCHO ONE yet, but DARTH ALMEIDA points out that they can harvest him and remake the UMBRELLA VIRUS! BLONDIE wets her panties at DARTH ALMEIDA’s ingenuity!
Meanwhile, after 6 FRIGGIN SEASONS, the latent PSYCHO POWER in Kim Bauer’s blood finally begins to stir! Unfortunately, THE ODD COUPLE catch onto Kim tapping into the PSYCHO NET and MR OSCAR starts to shoot up the airport while MS FELIX takes Kim hostage!
…Or at least, that’s what would have happened in S1-6! OROCHI KIM makes her return, shanking MS FELIX in the leg with a pen! Daddy would be so proud of you! With MR OSCAR making a hasty escape, the feds nowhere in sight, and a dead cell phone battery (Motorola you useless fucks! ) OROCHI KIM decides to chase him down herself!
And gets re-captured again, right? NOT THIS TIME BABY!
Realizing that her COUGAR ASSIST is still in LA, OROCHI KIM wisely (OMG) hangs back far enough to get a visual on the suspect, find some cops, and relay his position to SCARLETT! Wow, OROCHI KIM is…not getting herself into trouble and actually being helpful? With this and EVIL TONY, its like we’re watching MIRROR UNIVERSE 24. Where’s her evil goatee?
MR OSCAR gets himself in a wreck, and OROCHI KIM again taps into the PSYCHO NET, taking the laptop computer that can help locate the baddies before the car bursts into flames! (I can’t believe the most badass person in this episode is KIM BAUER.)
Did you all see the WTF?! look on SCARLETT’S face when OROCHI KIM was dropping the TECHNO-BABBLE? (For those watching on torrent, its at precisely 36:31). Or perhaps it was a look of fear - a creature with the PSYCHO POWER of JACK and the GOD H4X of CHLOE?! She’d be tournament banned FROM THE UNIVERSE for being too broken!
In other developments, THE MOTHERFUCKIN’ PIERCE contacts CITIZEN KANE to try and get access to THE SECRET DIARY OF FIRST BITCH. FIRST BITCH catches KANE snooping around in her underwear drawer, but KANE gets out of it by telling him that he’s taking back his own panties! FIRST BITCH catches on though and intercepts KANE, nabbing a MEMORY CARD with all her deep and personal secrets. However, KANE PREP-TIMED THAT SHIT DOWN, and had a fake card which he gave to FIRST BITCH! Later, KANE grabs some ROCKY ROAD ICE CREAM and has a DISH SESSION with THE PIERCE over FIRST BITCH’S JUICY SECRETS! Ooh!
While JACK is being prepped to be carved open like a pumpkin, DARTH ALMEIDA asks BLONDIE for a bigger seat at the SEELE TABLE. BLONDIE calls up CHAIRMAN KEEL, who agrees to meet up with DARTH ALMEIDA face to face!
But JACK isn’t about to go out on an operating table! After having SPINAL FLUID REMOVED, and WHILE HANDCUFFED, and lets not forget the DYING part either, he rolls off the table and kills 3 EVIL DOCTORS! DARTH ALMEIDA and BLONDIE return to find JACK missing and three dead doctors!

Thanks to the laptop OROCHI KIM saved, the feds are attempting to close in on DARTH ALMEIDA. UMBRELLA JACK runs to a garage, with DARTH ALMEIDA in pursuit! JACK closes a garage door on him, but Tony proves that you need PSYCHO TACTICS to defeat PSYCHO TACTICS by busting out a FORKLIFT to open the door! FUCK YOU DOOR! As a last-ditch effort, JACK tries to burn himself to death, but DARTH ALMEIDA puts a stop to that.
CITIZEN KANE visits with FIRST BITCH and lets her know he read her JUICY LITTLE DIARY. Rather than spill that shit all over TWITTER, he gives her the option to come clean to PRESIDENT SKIRT herself! FIRST BITCH is left looking FRAGILE and DEFLOWERED.
A recaptured JACK takes a last chance to try and bring DARTH ALMEIDA back to the light side of the PSYCHO FORCE. DARTH ALMEIDA admits that everything he’s done has been to bring down CHAIRMAN KEEL, who is the true ORCHESTRATOR over the TRANSFORMERS THE MOVIE S5 MASS DEATHS! DARTH ALMEIDA even tries to paint himself as the HERO! DARTH ALMEIDA plans to kill CHAIRMAN KEEL by using JACK as a PSYCHO BOMB!
CHAIRMAN KEEL arrives, and DARTH ALMEIDA plays good boy while plotting to blow him the fuck up! Before that can happen though, SCARLETT and THE FEDS arrive, and its a GUN PARTY for all! DARTH ALMEIDA pursues CHAIRMAN KEEL and BLONDIE, while SCARLETT displays some amazing RUN AND GUN skills, complete with the NAVY SEAL ROLL CANCEL KILL to get to JACK! She then disarms the PSYCHO BOMB, saving Jack! …Well, as much as you can save him at this point.
DARTH ALMEIDA tracks down KEEL and BLONDIE, and as BLONDIE is elated to see him…DARTH TONY blows her away! GODDAMN that was COLD-BLOODED! DARTH ALMEIDA then confronts KEEL, taking off his SITH MASK to once again become ANAKIN CUERVOGOLDDRINKER and show his pain behind Michelle THE BRIDE Dessler’s death, and something else - Michelle was pregnant with a LIL CUBS FAN! BEFORE ANAKIN TONY can deliver the death blow, JACK arrives and takes him down - non-lethally. TONY is dragged off, cursing and screaming. KEEL is taken into custody, but he adpots CHARIMAN SMIRK, something he’s going to be sporting for almost the whole damn episode!
SCARLETT tries to bully KEEL, but KEEL’s CHARIMAN SMIRK is damn strong! SCARLETT goes to JACK for some mentoring…did anyone else get a feeling of the torch being passed from PSYCHO MASTER to PSYCHO APPRENTICE here? PSYCHO MASTER OBI-WAN BAUER passes on his wisdom, and perhaps a bit of his PSYCHO POWER down to SCARLETT LOVELYTITS before being wheeled off to the hospital to die in peace!
FIRST BITCH fesses up to PRESIDENT SKIRT and FIRST PENIS about her role in THE EMPORER’s UNTIMELY DEMISE! PRESIDENT SKIRT has to think about being truthful and destroying her family (what’s left of it), or covering it up and betraying her duty! FIRST PENIS stirs and slaps his moderately-flaccid self across SKIRT’s face, imploring her to cover it up like TROJAN!
CHLOE leaves The FBI, with DARIA-CHLOE giving her a sincere thanks for her help. CHLOE compliments her in the awkward way that only CHLOE can, and walks offscreen with CHLOE SMIRK, knowing she’s finished one more season STILL ALIVE and giving computer nerds everywhere reasons to fap furiously at this show!
DR BABE tells JACK that there’s nothing more she can do for him, while JACK calls upon the Muslim from several episodes earlier to REPENT FOR HIS SINS!
SKIRT returns to her BROKEN FAMILY, and channeling as much of DAVID “PSYCHO PRESIDENT PALMER (TRIPLE P)” PALMER IMMOVABLE INTEGRITY through her pores as she can, tells FIRST BITCH that she’s gonna put her IN A BOTE and send her UP DIS REEVER. FIRST BITCH can now go back to being just a regular bitch, and FIRST PENIS shrinks down into ETERNAL FLACCIDITY. Just as SKIRT is reeling, KANE slides in for the rebound! SAFE! Getting his job back…and maybe a little bit more if ya play yer cards right, bucky!
CHAIRMAN KEEL sits in holding, awaiting his transfer. Having taken the PSYCHO MASTER’S SAGE ADVICE to heart, Agent Renee Walker buries the final little bits of SCARLETT away…and permanently transforms into the PSYCHO SUCCESSOR, CARNAGE! CARNAGE walks in, and watch how fast KEEL’s CHAIRMAN SMIRK fades from his face! PERFECT COUNTER HIT! Again, for those of you on torrent, pause this episode at the 43:16 mark to see CARNAGE’S PSYCHO AURA dominating the entire room! A NEW PSYCHO HAS ENTERED THE RING! Her power level is way above 9000! Her reiatsu puts Aizen to shame! Her chakra levels make the Kyuubi look like a damn chump! KEEL just knows - BOY, YOU GONNA GET RAPED.*

Sensing CARNAGE’s MASSIVE PSYCHO POWER, and even with KIM awakening her OROCHI BLOODLINE, JACK feels that the world is now in good hands, and with too much PSYCHO FORCE overloading the balance, he slips into a COMA! But OROCHI KIM isn’t willing to go TEE-HEE into the distance just yet! With JACK no longer able to object, she agrees to undergo the EXPERIMENTAL MIRACULOUS DEUS-EX-MACHINA HAND OF GOD PROCEDURE to try and save everyone’s favorite PSYCHO!
And…THAT’S HOW THIS SEASON ENDS!
Will OROCHI KIM be able to successfully cast her LIMIT BREAK REGEN on SLEEP JACK? What will become of ANAKIN TONY? Will the feds be able to identify what’s left of KEEL after CARNAGE is done with him? We’ll find out next year!

Sigh… the COUGAR may not have made an appearance, but a lot of people still got hurt or died a horrible death when in her presence, but at least it looks like she’s able to control it more.
A really good season, especially after the two shit fests that were 5 and 6.
