This fucking idiot throws his team under the bus when it’s his damn fault with these trash lineups and offensive gameplan that revolves ISO ball despite him being “a key factor into developing CP3 and Kyrie”.
He doesn’t have the balls to discipline Kobe and lets Kobe shoot a fuckton of 3s when he’s only shooting 20% from 3 the past few seasons.
Fuck it, let Metta coach because at least he would actually give a shit unlike Byron’s stupid smile he does when the team is down by 20+.
Mavs doing not to shabby those last 2 games with old guys and still 3 key players being injured. Wonder what is really up with Derons knee, besides his ankle issues since forever …
I haven’t posted in awhile, but i like what the dubs are doing.
Curry seems alot more confident this year, looks like he really wants to get his shot off and he has the green light to do it, Klays role on offense seems to be reduced so he can focus this year on D, and with him being one of the most efficient shooters in the league there shouldn’t be much drop off in offense, especially with the Steph-Dray-Klay-Iggy interchangeable pnr hydra being unguardable
To be fair, I’ve been saying McHale should’ve been fired since a few season ago. At this point I’m just waiting out of hope. He’s not the worst coach ever, but I don’t think he’s very good either. I really like JB Bickerstaff and Ralph Sampson when we had him. Those guys are great assistant coaches and Sampson is now a head coach for a college team. I think McHale owes a great deal of his success with this team to those guys and the sheer talent Morey has assembled.
Thornton being inserted is looking real good right now though. It’s a nice change of pace to see the ball go in the hoop and have it not be Steph Curry.
Thornton is playing like a guy who is mad he didn’t get signed by the team he’s playing against… and that’s exactly what’s happening. Heat could’ve had Thornton but decided to sign Green for cheaper.
GG has lost his mojo the first few games so far. Spoelstra’s shitty rotations and plays are to blame. He was able to freelance in preseason and light it up. Now he has to play within the system and is struggling mightily.
Or the players just take a sudden about face and force him out, but that’s highly unlikely since he seems well liked by the main guys. I wish this team was a bit mentally tougher, but it seems like they’re more content with not putting pressure on themselves than winning and McHale isn’t lighting a fire under anyone’s ass.
i think last years success has bought him a few years, regardless. and i don’t think the team hates him. i think he’s there unless there’s a major drop off that could have been prevented with good coaching.
it would be a bad look for a team to fire a coach that recently got to conference finals, but then again, i’m a 49ers fan and that shit happened.
It’s too bad, my dad always talked about Byron’s critical play in the '88 finals. Now he’s calling me wondering why this “stupid fucking bitch idiot” still has a “yob”.
