Yes. It’s a huge PR opportunity and a way to get people to watch their useless show about nothing. (Not to be confused with that other, actually entertaining Show About Nothing)
As for the criticism for GS, none of it holds any weight besides not facing a healthy Cavs team.
They didn’t play the Spurs? The Spurs didn’t handle their business. Same with the Clippers. A healthy Houston team puts up a better fight, but probably still loses.
I think the Finals proved that a healthy Cavs team more than likely beats the Warriors. I don’t blame GS for that though. They played who was in front of them. I just hate the chest puffing of their fans.
It’s the only reason they showed up. I would love to think they were there in sincere support of Lamar because in reality, I don’t want to think or believe negative things about people.
But bringing camera crew just snaps me back to reality.
i still truly believe in my heart of hearts a healthy TA and Conley would’ve been enough to eliminate GS…we had them by the balls w that 2-1 lead…then we stopped being able to to put the same lineup on the floor…but it is what it is… new season, we held dat…its all good.
Damn man that’s fucking sad. That man had some true demons, I hope that isn’t true. He’s been crying out for help it’s sad people in his circle or that knew him couldn’t save him.
Suns have that 8 seed on lock barring any injuries that happen. The talent pool they have this year is considerably deeper than last year and now they have a team that can play defense if they need to. For sure they’re better than the Kings, Wolves, and Exum-less Jazz.
Idk I think Minnesota could be considerably better this year if their young core continues to mature. People did not see it but after the All Star break, Wiggins played like a No. 1 pick and Lavine was out of his mind the last 2 months of the season.
Heat could potentially be the best team in the East, I just think age and attrition will get to them.
Sixers making playoffs and getting 1st pick from Kings. Bank on it. Getting the fourth from Lakers, 11th from OKC, and 14th from heat I think? Too lazy to go check, but then we’ll have BIONIC Embiid, Okafor, Saric, Simmons, and some pg from somewhere. THEN WE’LL WIN EVERY GAME FUCK THE LEAGUE.
Suns can’t hang with Kings. GK is a terrific coach, Boogie is the best center in the league, and their starting 5 is filled with fringe allstars. Rondo is motivated and playing for a check. Gay is 29 and most players have their best seasons around 28-30 (he had career highs in points and assists last year). They all know this is their best year to accomplish something. They’ve had rosters filled with scorers that didn’t pass. Now they have a PG that will probably be top 5 in assists.
Towns is the real deal. He’s going to improve Timberwolves dramatically. And don’t underestimate KG as a mentor and leader, which is what this young team was missing. Pekovic off the bench is scary. Wiggins will average 20 ppg. Their success rides on if Rubio actually improved.
Utah is a wildcard. They’re a sexy pick for a lot of people. They’re not missing much with Exum (though his defense in Summer League was nice). They get Alec Burks back from injury, and he was already playing the dual guard role Exum had. Gobert is a beast. They were lighting up the league after the allstar break.
PHX doesn’t have it yet. They’re weak at two positions. Booker is going to be good for them, but he’s got a ways to go. Knight has always been a streaky shooter. Bledsoe’s outside shot is still lacking.
