Since no one else is talking about it and the media seems to not give a shit. Thabo Sefolosha was found not guilty of all charges from that night club incident.
Why is it that a player seemingly does nothing wrong gets his leg broken by overly aggressive police officers, while they claim he told them that it was already broken and no one really cares. But we get about 40 stories about Ty Lawson’s drunk driving ass and 8 months coverage of a team possible deflating a football.
Sports media is shit and we deserve better.
Because, in reality, the impact of Thabo’s story is less about him and more about its usefulness to highlight these lying, rampaging, killer cops. Same exact thing with James Blake’s story. Once people got use out of it for this exact reason, it was forgotten. It served it’s higher purpose in letting people know that even pro athletes aren’t safe from bs law enforcement. Besides, everyone felt Thabo did nothing wrong and the case would get thrown out anyway.
The fact that the case got thrown out should implicate the cops even more, remember Thabo being hurt not only had a huge impact on himself but on his team.
it’ll be more important when him and james blake sue the police. thabo is defending his innocence, which the result should have been obvious from anyone who saw the video. when its the cops turn to defend themselves, then i’ll be more willing to care about the whole thing.
i am surprised it took this long for it in court to get a not guilty verdict. now the real fun can begin.

I think OKC has the best team and should come out at spot 1-2 in the west. They got 2 of the top 5 players in the NBA play. They got really serviceable roll man from the Pick and Roll now and have better floor spacing. They still have good defenders and seem to be an actual team.
