As funny as it is, I do not understand Tristan Thompson’s position, he is getting so really bad advise. A bench player who has never averaged a double double who is demanding a max contract when no team outside Portland has the money to offer him this contract as a RFA. No team is going to give him a max either, the biggest contract he would receive is the one he turned down from Cleveland. The reason they haven’t tested the market is because TT knows his value isn’t as high as he is wanting and is essentially pulling a bluff. Holding out for the season does nothing but hurt TT either and makes him look like a cancer, it is a lose lose for Thompson.

The majority of the game was awful, Kobe and Byron agreed to him not playing that many minutes yesterday and the crowd started to cheer for him to comeback out.
It’s only preseason but Randle’s defense is awful and Jabari Brown swears he’s Steph Curry.
Worst case, Randle becomes a tweener. Too small to guard PFs and too slow to guard SFs. It’s part of why players like Beasley, Anthony Bennett, Marvin Williams and Derrick Williams can’t find themselves or a good niche despite high pick status.
One thing he does have going for him his handles.
