Yeah, what a weird ironic game. Only 66 out of 123 pitches for strikes. Also throw in some pretty amazing defensive plays and a blotched call in his favour.
But Francisco Liriano has now thrown a no-hitter. You will never be able to take that away from him.
Neither compare to the Angels throwing a collective no-hitter in a game they lost.
Only way to beat that is if a single pitcher throws a no-hitter in a game his team loses.
This was probably the last game Liriano was going to pitch before they pulled him out of the rotation too.
