The kessel trade wasn’t bad. People that don’t know shit think it’s bad. You got a first round pick for 2 picks…that if you go by the last four or 5 years should have ended up being a 10th or 11th pick. Bruke made the team better…how was he supposed to know that if you make the team better they play worse and end up second last in the league? that’s beyond logic. Also this is toronto…you don’t rebuild for 20 years off draft picks in toronto, the fans would be up in arms about that as well.

kessel deal TURNED OUT bad, but had potential to be in Toronto’s favour. Still, losing a 2nd overall pick for a player who is that kinda calibre player (realize he has NOBODY to play with right now, and gets double teamed a lot due to this), isn’t that bad. Still gotta see where we finish this year. I doubt it will be THAT bad, considering how fucking horrible New Jersey and Edmonton (cough TANK NATIONS cough) are doing, as well as a few others. Still looking forward to trade deadline, and all our injured players are pretty much back
