I used to live next door to Emery’s cousin a few years back (and my best friend is Kevin Bieksa’s cousin) . If you ever get around to my city you can see some amazing players come fuck around in the summer (ie- Spezza, Bieksa, and a few others play in a summer league here and just dominate lol)

They traded unproven commodities(Draft picks, Morin) for basically a proven commodity(Byfuglien). It remains to be seen if those draft picks or Morin ever pan out in the NHL.

The Thrashers just need more fans period. Unfortunately they’ve never won a playoff game in their existence. It’s a shame, because of all the “unworthy” NHL cities Atlanta is the biggest.
