Schneider looked good, I’ve seen him bounce back before with the moose (I don’t watch much AHL but I’ve caught a few games if I see em) so I wasn’t worried about another bad game. Ballard laying dat hipcheck was refreshing since he was becoming the new fan whipping boy on tap behind Bieksa.

I’ve only seen a few games of Stalberg when he was with Toronto and that kid has some serious speed. His only problem his hands can’t keep up when handling the puck. Versteeg has been incredible so far. It was a steal for Toronto, but Chicago had to cut salary.

And as for Kadri, of course he’s gonna get knocked around. He’s our up and coming star. Kessel had the same shit happen to him last year, where teams would just target him or throw two guys on him.
The major reason we need kadri up in the Big’s, is so we can force other teams to have to deal with TWO superstars dancing around the ice.
The Oilers have more drama than the Leafs, Kadri getting called out by Bruke gets more attention by the “Canadian” media than anything else.

as for kadri, he probably will still go down to the AHL, but from what I hear MacArthur will be on the second line, and he’s day to day with a groin injury, so who knows. Fuck, Kadri’s just nervous. He seemed to loosen up by that last game. Two more pre-season games to go, so I guess we’ll see what Wilson does with him
