For anyone who cares, I’ve probably ridden the Viva 15-25 times, never bought a ticket, and been approached by the cops only once, and I was able to talk my way out of trouble rather easily. If you’re really sweating the extra $3.25, just be a bad-ass and don’t pay.

Nothing changed with my character. Atleast nothing noticeable. The long lines up are ummm long. Best if you get there early to do your testing. If not, the wait time can go up to 30-45min. Thoughts on AE, exactly the same unless your taking advantage of those changes that the developer blogs mentioned. AE Change List

As an added note to this, I actually asked him and basically his answer is no. (He said like… we’ll see… with a very unlikely look on his face… then a bunch of excuses/analysis) Basically its very expensive for him to do so and he doesn’t believe it’ll be worth the trouble.
He actually still has the vanilla SF4 boards lol. I think there are 2 ways to get AE, with an upgrade to the original package, and a brand new board. And apparently, new boards are only 1 board instead of 2 now, so if he were to upgrade, it would cost him 2 boards to upgrade, whereas a new board only costs him 1 lol. oook?
but yea, don’t expect a 2nd AE cab.
yea, i was rethinking about the whole situation again and was thinking about it from the bosses shoes. It’s a huge initial investment risk with minimal long term return, so he doesn’t really need to care about the huge ass line ups.
Quan asked him and apparently there’s something wrong with the vanilla boards. Would’ve been nice if he could at least run Vanilla and AE side by side. Hopefully he can fix the boards.
I like the monitor on the side though. Nice touch on that one.

I was there yesterday, there’s a sign on the door that says Lovegety will be open at 4:30 pm from January 17 - 21. I don’t know if this is true for Tuesdays though, he might still open at 9 tonight. If you live close or if you have a car, I guess you can swing by at 4:30 and see what’s up.
Anyway, GGs to everyone I played yesterday, random Monday night fiending is so good, I got to play so much. There were 6 of us for most of the day, which is ideal, went up to about 10 by the end of the night. I wholeheartedly recommend making the trip out on weekdays, especially if you feel like picking up Yun or Yang. It’s an excellent experience.
