Yea the network only allows the system to run on Japanese I.P’s for some odd reason.
for the record, gety isn’t getting BBCS2 (as if anyone cares lolol). for anyone who cares about airdash/poverty/animu games, gety might be getting some other game along those lines instead though (e.g. mbaacc, ah3, etc.), but don’t hold your breath.

tekken 6 (japanese) cards were connected to the network too, thats why when TK6 jp version was here, the cards didn’t work. It was only in international version where the cards worked (not sure whether they ditched the whole online thing for international version or not)
As for getting a 2nd cab, I never asked him, but like i said, i doubt it. The boss thinks in an awkward way imo, ie; there may be a lineup now, but is this lineup going to last me long enough to make it beneficial to get a 2nd board? Whats going to happen in a few months when the hype dies down? Will both cabs be constantly filled (forever) to make it reasonable to get a 2nd cab? To him it doesnt matter because people in line who didn’t get to play today, will just come play tomorrow if they really want to lol.

The arcade cabs will always be better than the console because it eliminates the variables like tv and input lag, thus will always be played… in theory

also does the purple line from the viva bus run straight from finch stn to commerce gate? and do viva buses run for 24 hrs?
I think the issue is that sure, RIGHT NOW it makes sense to have 2 cabs, but a month from now when those lines are all at home playing MvC3, and then eventually when AE hits console all gone again, where does that leave him? I highly doubt he’d make back the cost of another cab in the time he has to work with.

the purple doesnt run from finch station at all… the blue and pink do i believe. the purple is the one that goes east/west on 7. no matter what viva you take from finch station, you’ll have to transfer onto a purple.
and no, viva buses only run till 1 ish? though that might have changed. the non viva yrt buses run till like, 11
I think MvC will take alot out of the arcade regardless, so maybe he’s thinking long term and just weather the storm with 1 cab?
The Purple doesn’t go to/from Finch but the Pink does, it follows the same route up to a point. Get off at West Beaver Creek and walk into the plaza. And no, it doesn’t run 24 hours, last bus out is usually 1 am? Maybe earlier on weekdays, I’m not sure, someone else can fill you in.
You’re talking as if Lovegety will be a ghost town in a couple months. I can understand that you will stop going to Lovegety once AE hits consoles because you live in St. Catherines. But all the locals will keep fiending. I never stopped playing vanilla because I fucking love arcades. The only reason I’m getting back into this game is because of AE at Lovegety.
The blue and pink run at Finch Station. You can just take Viva Pink and go all the way to Highway 7 and Leslie without transfering to Viva purple at Richmond Hill Centre. The pink goes from Finch Station to Unionville Station

Pre-order’s for the March batch of soft kits ended last week end. Even if the boss wanted to get a second it’s not likely. And for the record the new batch does allow head to head play with only one kit required.
Do I have to pay another bus fair when I get on the viva? Someone told me it’s not part of TTC.
Yes, an extra 3.25, also note that they use a strange ticketing system which, I believe, you need to purchase before you get on the bus since they don’t accept change. There are ticket terminals everywhere though so it’s not an issue.
This also led to us not having to pay since they didn’t bother checking the tickets and we didn’t know we had to buy one, which was rather convienient.
They don’t check tickets but if for some random reason a cop comes on the bus or those constable people come on and you get caught, then you’re fucked.
I’d say if you were going somewhere and it only required like 2-3 stops to get there, then don’t get one. Otherwise just be careful.
I never take VIVA though.
