H Red Hot Kick isn’t an overhead. You can do instant overhead with jump H canceled into red hot kick.
I’m gonna be the first to say it… I HATE his level 3. It’s so fucking stupid and long. Come at me!
I agree, except since it took some time to unlock this level 3, so I think Capcom wanted to give the Phoenix Wright Players complete satisfaction with the highest unscalled Gravity Squeeze damage possible and enjoy defeating various (self-procliamed) gods and supreme beings using a vase, a phone and a photograpgh.
Weird, that’s why I love it.
It wouldn’t be trolling if it were serious and short. Duh.
You win the internetz.
On-topic: Personally, I think the strategy will be to get PW to turnabout as a point character, THEN tag him out.
Not only is this because you’ll troll the in-game music, but it also means that any THC will be a TOD. Rocket Raccoon and his usually low damage output will suddenly seem like “dodge or die”.
Turnabout doesn’t freeze when you tag out, I think.
Unless this changed in a recent build, I know it does. Strapped for time to link to the actual video, but check out one of S-Kill’s walkthroughs.
Good to know.
I honestly think he’ll still need assists while in Turnabout.
 I’m actually wondering if his assists will be installed when he activates Turnabout and switches out.
Phoenix out here giving kids serious ass paper cuts, LOL.
For anyone curious about his Japanese voice, you can hear it in the first video on this page: http://www.capcom.co.jp/mvsc3/trailer_battle.html
His japanese voice is great! It’s a shame that you can’t listen to the full “Igiari” when he landed the objection.
 Yeah…kinda sad that the mainstays of his voice in either language don’t really come through in those clutch moments, but it’s whatevz.
I’m not a huge fan of the Japanese voice. It doesn’t seem to fit his character all that much. The sneeze sounds better though.
Remember when people actually thought this was a real reason? I do.
It makes sense because they were going to use the individual letters of Objection as a hyper. Of course, Objection is nine letters, while I think that Igiari is four Japanese characters. It would have been a problem if they went that route.
And as you can see in UMvC3, they chose a different way of integrating the Objection/Igiari.
They pull up the move list momentarily in this video:
They didn’t look at everything but I went ahead and copied everything that managed to make it to the screen.
