It is when your video’s imagery has nothing to do with the song, and said song merely scrapes the surface of “be financially responsible” with a misleading song title.
It’s easy to tell people these things from the comfort of a studio.
lol maybe instead of being pissed that OJ got off, people should be pissed at the police for trying to frame him, as what obviously happened. But nope, no one white ever mentions that. Only that they are so pissed that he got off.
He wouldn’t have gotten off without the missing blood and obviously planted evidence and shitty ass fuhrman. So maybe just maybe your indignation would be better spent making sure police don’t do that anymore so that those that do crimes go to jail for them, not innocent people railroaded by shitty police work and police deciding they are judge and jury before the evidence even gets presented.
Lol at “DNA evidence” when his blood mysteriously goes missing and no one seem to know what happened to it. That put the entire prosecutions case on tilt. For me it wasn’t the prosecution doing a shitty job, it was the police being the police and johnny Cochran working magic and bringing that to light.
wut? half the point of the song was to be financially responsible the other part is the fact to the world we’re just niggers…no matter how high we reach we’re still the scum to society. Thats why the use of the imagery.
His blood was on his Bronco and the glove before his blood was even connected. Unless the LAPD got a time machine, I don’t know how they would have planted his blood there.
I got the point. It irritates me when someone who has made a career out of pretending to live a life of excess and exorbitant spending and uses the word nigga more than an episode of the Boondocks all of a sudden wants to start preaching about fiscal responsibility and the plight of the black man.
This is the same dude that was beating people with champagne bottles and made “Big Pimpin’” while mocking Nas for being a “conscious” rapper.
The song title isn’t misleading. OJ is the perfect example of the song’s message. It’s why it’s named after him. This video here does a better job of explaining it than I can.
None of that is lost on Jay. The guy did use himself as an example and regrets the exorbitant spending he did when he was younger. Being in his late 40s and being a dad can change a man. He addressed the conscious rapper shit way back with the Black album.
I don’t care, and how am I racist for posting this if I’m Black? Now if you’re white that’s a whole other issue, you posting something like that wouldn’t be introspective criticism and would definitely lean more in the racist category (if not being racially ignorant to the say the least).
People are pissed off at OJ because he got away with murder, dude. Just because one or a few police officers fuck up during a crime scene investigation doesn’t mean he’s exonerated or innocent. I think in the early 90s it was pretty much standard for the LAPD to plant evidence on people. That police department has more dirt on them than the Gambino crime family.
The evidence doesn’t point to him getting away with murder. The evidence points to him being framed by police and us not knowing how much of the “evidence” was planted.
He probably did it, but there’s enough evidence to make a person go… maybe he didn’t, if you look at the list of evidence that the defense had. People “hated” OJ before the trial ever began, before evidence was presented. His guilt was assumed right off the bat. I was alive and kicking while the trial was going on and during the LA riots I lived in LA, people would drive down the street and ransoms would yell nigger at me. Doesn’t mean OJ is innocent but it’s quite easy to see how a jury of black people came back with a not guilty verdict after hearing all the police and prosecutions fuckups and the racist police officer wouldn’t say he didn’t plant evidence.
He could literally hold a press conference and flat out say “FUCK Y’ALL NIGGAS I MURDERED THE SHIT OUT OF THEM” and nothing would happen because of double jeopardy.
