I’ll be bringing a DC, Marvel, PS2, and Anniversary Edition for the next poker night at Zach’s. Could people please bring MAS sticks (and converters), PS2’s, and CCC2? Post if you are bringing any of those things. We’re over a week away from the next league event. Still, I’d like to get people to commit now if possible. If the ST tournament is to happen at all, someone will definitely need to bring a copy of CCC2.
Heck, post if you’re showing up at all. Let the fence straddlers get an idea of what the attendance will be. Perhaps that’ll generate some interest.
Also, please bring the proper denomination for entry fees. $5 for Marvel and 3s, and $1 for ST. When everyone needs change, it slows the registration process down and makes it difficult to disperse winnings afterwards. We can’t all be like Zach and carry $800 in our wallets. Thanks.

Yeah, I learned the hard way when running tournaments that making change is surprisingly frustrating. 
Updated first post to clarify character selection for all tournaments. Also made grand finals 4/7, since this is how most other tournaments are held. I had thought about making this the case last Friday, but opted to adhere to what I had posted in the forums rather than changing the format during the event. Now, people have been warned. If I’m doing anything that’s more retarded than usual, please point it out. And do ask if I’ve failed to make something clear. I’m relatively new to competitive fighting games.
Please note that the 4/7 grand finals would not have made a difference last week, as Cody still would have lost miserably. Anyone who loses a game to me deserves to hide in shame.
I’m (probably) showing up, and I will bring a PS2 with AE and CCC2. If needed, I have a ST arcade board as well. Just let me know if you think I should bring it.
I’d recommend bringing everything except the arcade board. Zach also has an ST board. Also, we should try to focus on playing console versions of games in preparation for EVO.
I’ll be emerging from my cave to show up. I’ve got a t5 stick as well as a kind of nasty happs mod of the red octane that went on sale a whiles back. I’d bring my PS2, but it’s getting to the point where it only plays games off a HD . . . while sitting on its side. Oh, and PS1 games.

It would be nice to see a flavor of the week type tourney, involving vampire savior, a3, kof and whatnot. Of course, I’d like to see some consistency w/ GG, but all you guys do is play casuals!
I might be one of the few that would play A3… as for the MB, GG, VS and KOF, good luck getting more than one other participant. Marvel, 3S and ST are games we all play at Zach’s anyway, Keith and Mandel stepped up and turned part of the regular casuals into a tournament format. It’s hard enough getting interest in 3S and ST when you have to pay to enter, much less games no one plays anyway.
But hey I might be wrong, announcing a Melty Blood tournament might cause an influx of people that love to play with adolescent vampires that attack people with chairs and brooms to attend.
once AC comes out, ill give it a legitimate chance…it should at least look good in component…and Ve…if you have MB, may i borrow it?
