i’m not a big fan of having “joke” characters". i play every character as if they could be my bidness. i even get upset at myself when i lose with honda, akuma, chun, etc because i want them to win. i don’t want to be limited to thinking that they can’t win because i don’t take them seriously. when i think of the TOP chun player, top akuma player, top honda player, i wanna be as good as THEM with those characters.
if you keep thinking of your alt characters as mess around characters, you’ll never reach the potential you can with them. if you have the basic fundamentals with them, go further. it’ll be more fun.
