Ok, I also rechecked my green PCB again and it does say 8V (not 1.1V ā this value is for something else), where the gray wire connects on the connector. Nothing special about the converter, but it works flawlessly for mine.
(I also updated the other SFAS thread with this 8V value.)
hey adroc i just ordered one of those converters from your ebay link. mine seems to be exactly like yours green pcb with 8V
hope it works!!
Might need to order one of those adapters as well. Vicious22, please post here when you receive yours.
will do 80085
do u have a green pcb 8V SFAC?? have you tried any adapters for the ps3?
8V? 1.1V? How many versions of this pcb are out there?
Incidently, my non-working PCB is 7.5V. Have it opened up right now.
I just bought the HVC2 from Fryās earlier ($9.99 newly marked down). They work perfect on the 3.5V pcbs.
there are 3 versions as per the pics from the previous page from 80085
3.5V , 7.5V and 8V
1.1V is something i misread
seems 3.5V is the easiest to convert from ps2 to ps3 with both HAIs, HVC2 and TAC converters working
One of my sticks has the 8V green PCB. only adapter Iāve tried with it is the dealextreme one, and it doesnāt work.
Hay guys
new to the forum since i was searching online about this stick and modding it for a PS3.
So just to be sure if i were to follow this walkthru http://arcadestickmonk.com/SFACmod.html would it work well with a converter for PS3?
My stick atm works on a PS3 with one of those $5 converters from ebay, and before i go thru buying the parts i just wanted to make sure its worth it with happ parts in it.
Any info would be great.
So long as you donāt touch (damage) the PCB, the type of buttons and stick that you use (with the exception of the P360 stick) do not make a difference.
The button and stick mod will NOT do anything to the converterās functionality.

Im gona buy me one of those
hey vince34
would u mind letting us know the colour and voltage of ur psb in the SFAC
and also which converter from ebay? maybe a link?
thanks mate
Ok i ordered all the parts from this link
http://arcadestickmonk.com/SFACmod.html
Ill have to open the case to check the PCB but it looks exactly like the one from the link above.
As for the PS2 to PS3 converter, i picked this one up off ebay. it works for my PS2 controllers to PS3 (i tested them out) and works with all my PS2 controllers to my MAME arcade/SNES/NES emulators too on my Macbook pro with bootcamp.
This is the converter i picked up, Ebay # 400039838163
Tonight i will check out the PCB and even take some pics, i also have another Stick in mint condition in storage. I am gonna check that one out tonight and see if it works as well with the converted. Then make a second stick for SF4.
Edit; not sure if it makes a difference but my Zangief has no hair on the art. Will check the second one i have in storage to see.
Ok found my other stick in storage, was mint in the box. Came with flyer and poster. No hair on zangief either. Both are 3.5 V and works with the adapater i posted before, showing a pic here.
Now i just need my happ parts another converter and ready to go. These sticks work on PS2 and PS3 street fighter games, even with the converter works on my MAME emulator. Just that the buttons and stick are crap. So i hope they work out with the happ parts. Plus i already started some photoshop art for the covers!

I messed up one of my small start buttons doing my 360 mod on my anniversary stick. Anybody know where I can buy replacement buttons that small? Please shoot me a PM.
I have an opportunity to purchase one of these modded with an x360 PCB and Seimitsu LS-32 and Seimitsu buttons for around $100 USD. Does this sound like a good idea?
Considering most places are still selling them 100-120 used without those modifications, it certainly seems like a good deal. Iāll buy it if you wont though =)
Can you explain what happened?
Hi guys,
I have the 7.5 green pcb board on mine and i brought the dragonplus adapter while i was overseas and it doesnāt work on my ps3. The adapter works for the DS2 controller when you hit the analog button and i know the stick works on the PS2. Iāve tried the Up+Select combination to see if it will substitute the home key but to know avail. Anyone know what adapter i can get which will work for this board for SF4 without having to do these controller mods? Im in Australia.
Thanks
Strange fact about mine (i have zangief hair, donāt remember about the pcb and donāt want to open it right now, iāll tell you when i switch my stick/buttons to happ/il ones):
The stick works on pc but only when i use 2 adapters at the same time: a xbox adapter + a ps2 adapter.
You might want to try if youāre having trouble getting it to work on pc (it was recognized when i used only one but with the ps2 adapter it kept going nuts, and with the xbox one it recognized it as a wheel so i couldnāt move with the stick).
