But yeah, my Jill play was ass before, but as my general fundamentals and spacing got better, so did my Jill, and I think im pretty good as of now. The whole thing was pretty stupid, but he said some dumb shit that I had to call him out on.

I started playing Jill, Hawkeye, strider. It gives me the anti-air/reset assist I need while still having a good projectile assist without a soft knockdown. While I enjoyed Jill/Iron man/Sent, Iron man was just too much of a pain to get hit confirms with particularly since I only get to play online.
The only real downfall of this team is a lack of TAC infinites and lack of overall damage. The lack of TAC doesn’t really bother me since I hate using them anyway, but I am at kind of a loss for improving the damage of Jill’s bnb using these assists. I can basically add an extra launcher into vajra assist (plus the tk arrowkick or cartwheel), but I’m not sure triple arrow can add much damage potential. As well it seems the only good DHC I have is raven spike into Kiss of fire (which is far from frighting damage).
Regardless the team is a lot of fun and pretty easy to use.

@AdmiralParmesan I played that team for a while. Oh boy does it have it’s tech. I love that damn team. The only real problem is the damage but the resets are great. It’s more of just a secondary team.
I use that team in a ft10 in the first 3 or so games to fuck with the opponent’s head, then switch to my main shit afterwards. It also tests their reactions, predictions, and yomi and gives me good reads on them afterwards.
Hi everyone. I wanted to make a team that involves jill. What I wanted to do was Jill (wallbounce kick) / strange (Bolts) / Dante (Jam). I saw a video of jill dhc glitching into strange for fof loops, but is it situational (meter, position, hitstun), or pretty consistent? Are there combos that do more damage? And how good are these assists for jill?
I’ve seen this one before. Pretty solid for Jill, honestly, and Arrow Kick is about as good an assist you could as from her unless you’d rather be more meter-intensive and have Somersault for CCs that Strange may or may not want, I honestly don’t know. Bolts are very good as they’re slow beams that open mix-up opportunities, and Dante’s guitar will strike at Jill’s weaker areas so she doesn’t have to. I can’t speak for the shell, though, as I’m not at all experienced with Strange. I’m pretty sure he’s balls, though, so don’t expect too much once Jill’s gone.
FoF loops are simple enough to get, and it’s guaranteed to kill as long as you don’t drop it. Jill is fully capable of building just over a bar by herself with the right combos, and it only takes two bars to set it up. You just DHC into Strange’s Rings from Raven Spike and then go to town. Raven Spike is a soft knockdown when DHC’d from, so hitstun scaling will not be an issue since FoF loops are an infinite, I’m sure. I think you can pull it off anywhere, and Raven Spike is stupid easy to hit with if you know how the hitbox actually works.
If you don’t mind having to play Strange, then it ought to work out really well for you.
Thanks for the help. Are there any combos with jill that go to the can help with the set-up? I want a combo that can carry to the corner, build a meter, and still leave hitstun. Her normal bnb does most of that, but only carries from around half-screen
Unfortunately, I’m far out of reach of the game right now and can’t concoct anything to help you on the spot. Instead, I advise that you learn to improvise on reaction to both your confirm and the location at which you confirmed.
There’s not much you can do to carry from corner to corner and still end with a hyper, but your feral dash has the ability to cross up on command. You can reset mid-combo this way, or reverse the direction you’re facing to carry to the nearest corner. Remember that your :dp: attack throw will toss them behind you and can be followed up with your faster normals if thrown directly into the corner. Unfortunately again, you’ll have to remember that Jumping Roundhouse, your more mobile wallbounce kick, has wonky hitstun that can end before the wallbounce even happens, so you’ll want to bust that out earlier if you have to. Because of this, you’ll have a hard time finding one combo that will do everything you’re asking.
Your best bet, I think, would be to learn Flip Kick loops, which you ought to learn anyway. Lots of damage, lots of hits, and Flip Kick links really well into Raven Spike. They’re basically canceling one flip kick into feral stance to do yet another flip kick. You can do two or three of these off of most confirms, then go to Somersault and then Roundhouse for your wallbounce and corner carry, after which you can follow up with more flip kick loops, or a Somersault > TK Cartwheel > Somersault > TK Flip Kick > Raven Spike or something.
If you don’t have the meter for the DHC to FoF loops, then just burn the meter on MGS if you’re confident it will kill, or go for one of your hundreds of resets.

Sure, the idea is hard knockdown into drones, yes, but I think it’s worth noting how you get there. AK being the method, you can use anything you want, bolts, missiles, whatever.
I will admit, though, it’s a bit obvious, but hey, more videos, the better :P. Just like how you found my boulder trap -> mad hopper -> MGS unblockable setup
It’s not bad, the actual reset itself makes the good timing for the drones meaty. Your best option would be to front tech here, as jill can’t really get a good mixup out of that front roll, other than the one she already has. Honestly corky, i would just go with the attempted roundhouse wallbounces with an assist, I like those a lot.
I really like the viper part of the video. It shows that jill can theoretically do a parry-ish thing with her somersault, and I really like it.
