quick question: when you guys talk about somersault whiffs, do you mean poking with rapid fire feral canceled somersaults?

Yes. It’s canceling your somersaults by the 9th frame and somersaulting on the first frame of FC.

If you’re doing it right Jill should utter the “S” or a hiss sound of Somersault.

So in theory, I should be able to somersault whiff cancel through a beam assist, right? I can’t seem to get it, past maybe one or two times before the beam hits me. :\

Yes, I do it pretty often in that video of me vs. Shekeib, you can use that for reference.

Beam I don’t know because the invincibility moment is pretty quick, so I guess Jill can pass only through rapid projectiles. I’ve done this with Trish’s projectile. It works. It’s risky, but works.

Yo paulo, your a good hawkeye player, does hawkeye work with strider?

I’m torn. I kind of want to drop Frank from Jill/Frank/Strider, but the only other character I’d want to play that could fill that niche would be Dog. I’ve never spent much time with Cold Star, though. How does it compare to Frank’s shopping cart in utility? Would I be giving up too much, do you think?

I’ve been messing around with Jill/Strange/Ammy and it’s totally one of her best assists. The only problem I have with it is that Amaterasu goes into the air, leaving her to be punished (along with it being a bit slower in terms of startup then Cart).

It’s great and it makes for wayy better assists and confirms. If Jill dies, Strange/Ammy is broken as hell anyway.

It’s been working great on that team, and I don’t even play Amaterasu at all.

It’s more or less my anti Vergil team if anything. The team’s horizontal lockdown and coverage is so vast that anywhere on the ground is unsafe for your opponent. I make due with my good spacing and feral whiffs.

An anti-air assist is still really godlike though.

oh gotcha, soo this is like a team if the other person has little air options, then chose this team because then they will never be safe, sounds good :stuck_out_tongue:

Developed an 760-800K combo with Jill/Strange with 1 bar and one assist during the break. Feels good!

Nice! I made my first dante 900k combo (with a devil trigger extention), so technically two meters, but it looks nice ;), this team (Jill/Dante(weasel shot)/Hawkeye has a ton of synergy.

Also, over the break, my jill rushdown because a lot stronger. Ill start beating you soon rice ;D, lol jk not in a million years

Welcome to the forums ;D, i’m not a great jill player, so NonsexualRice can help you further, but for what it’s worth, I used Jill/Iron Man/Ammy in the past and it was pretty good. For the most part, though, she needs an anti-air assist

Welcome to the forums ;D, i’m not a great jill player, so NonsexualRice can help you further, but for what it’s worth, I used Jill/Iron Man/Ammy in the past and it was pretty good. For the most part, though, she needs an anti-air assist

Its cool man. I’m pretty sure everyone in this forum has 1,000 times more experience with the character then I do, so ill take any advice that comes my way. I don’t know why but i really love this character. Her mobility and mix ups just feel so good, plus the fact that I believe she is one of the very few who Vergil has to be careful around so that’s an even bigger plus.

I felt that way too man, before I got her, I was jizzing my pants at any chance to play her, her mobility and mixups are just so much fun to use, glad to find someone who can relate. And trust me, my jill is god-awful. I know “how” to play her, but when it comes to playing, I always get bodied with any character I play. I feel like no matter how much I practice, I don’t improve, but it’s always fun practicing, so I keep at it :stuck_out_tongue:

Just got back from work and SRK is still recovering from the maintence, so the community’s going to be on life support for awhile.

MODOK,RR, and Spencer have limited synergy with Jill. Iron-Man is REALLY good with Jill and Sentinel/Mags is decent.

Really, Jill wants a fast lockdown assist/Anti-air assist.

Both should be able to combo extend too
