Can Vega’s Izuna drop/wall dive mixup just be avoided altogether with a late teleport? I think sometimes when I get crossed up and I try to compensate, ultra comes out instead of teleport. Do you have to do the input just as Vega reaches head height or something? I’d like to know the Vega gameplan and strats as well.
I usually tag his walldive with j. mp if I can. Cr. FP isn’t a good option since it comes out slow, and focusing might be bad if he starts switching to the grab instead of the claw attack. You want to score one knockdown and then start crossing up with tick throws. I’m also not afraid to jump at Vega, his AA game is weak. You can safe-jump his flipkicks, U2, and can tag his evasive flips with a slide.
I played Claw in HDR, and HATED the Bison matchup. Some of those factors still apply here.
Bison needs to throw out pokes, but whiffing all his normals against some of those matchups isn’t a good idea. Maybe you should hit up training mode to learn the spacing of all his normals or set goals to use only his normals in some matches, which is how some people learn characters. Kinda missed a fair few punishes and some weren’t optimal damage. Practice Bison’s BnB combos and pressure strings in training mode until you get them down. He doesn’t have many and they’re not too difficult. Also, if you’re going to FADC a slide to make it safe, I don’t think you can immediately dash forward if you want to make it safe, because you’re -10 frames (correct me if I’m wrong). You can FA then dash back, or FA then pause to see how they react (or catch them with the FA) then dash forward maybe. If I said something off, someone else feel free to correct and add. That’s all I got for now, too tired.

You can late teleport yes but its hard to time it right so that you can still punish him.
I fight a pretty good Vega player here locally from time to time and this is just my experiences.
Right off the bat, U2 doesn’t work anymore against good Vega’s, the change to a charge motion killed a lot of its usefulness in this matchup good ones will make it so that you either lose charge or so that an auto correct U2 doesn’t reach.
Using j.mp or any jumping normal for that matter to try and tag him in mid air almost never works for me, he’s good at just grabbing me or clawing me on reaction to a jump. Cr.hp is useless. Rest of your info about his wakeup/AA is most certainly correct.

Think i figured out my shoto and akuma problem. Be more patient and crouch tech less. Still could of been more patient but I did better!!!

^tbh I don’t know if being patient is the key against akuma. Once they get a hard knockdown it’s pretty much over. This akuma didn’t really have a vortex like a good akuma would. Also, I cannot stress this enough…PUNISH AS HARD AS POSSIBLE! a jump in fierce followed by light scissors isnt the best pusnish. Bison doesnt have high damage combos so try to capitalize when you have the chance.

Once you play an Akuma that knows how to vortex properly, that’s when you question whether you know how to play the game. I played this one Akuma must have been 20 times and couldn’t get a single round. Turns out he was one of the Shadowloo Showdown organizers:(
Edit: It was a while ago, and I think I was actually using Balrog, which kinda made the vortex a billion times harder to escape.
Also, Dogura/Ikoma Devil’s approach to the Akuma matchup (against Tokido) is probably the best way to take it.
