Another thing to note, is if you do snap. You just used 1 bar. If you DO get the snap mixup, unless you play Vergil/Spencer, you’ll probably have to XF or TAC to kill the character.

I can do 750k starting with 0 bar with nova off pretty much any clean hit with no Xfactor. Not a problem at all. Remember, this isn’t Vergil or Wesker or someone with real body. This is Akuma. Lowest health tier in the game this side of Phoenix.

What incoming will you plan on doing? If you do anything besides a j.H 50/50, you run the risk of having a scaled combo and giving your opponent yet another chance.

This isn’t to say that snapping isn’t a good idea. Whatever works for you, but those are the implications you gotta keep in mind. TAC would of given you the kill + like 4 bars to work with. Personally, I don’t think Akuma warrants a snap.

Well, I’ll keep that all in mind. The TACs are starting to work, and I can do the midscreen one. Still working on corner up and side, though. Gonna abandon any attempts at using the wallbounce raw tag tech on wolvie, his body is… nonstandard. :confused:

Killing Wolverine is the best option that you have. No matter what it takes you need the momentum and to take out the main “cannon” of the team. Snapping Akuma is the next best option but only for whatever reason you can’t kill or whatever. Storm/Wolverine is definitely not as potent. XF3 Wolvie is pretty dangerous but at least you’ll be in the advantage and you can use your assists alittle bit more freely without it getting sniped.

Regardless kill Wolverine. Nova’s movement is good enough that you won’t always be locked down by Storm/Akuma. But I haven’t played Justin so what do I know haha.

I’ve actually been implementing j.H + Vajra, grav pulse L or rocketpunch L.

What this does is OS an airthrow, confirm on hit, and keep you safe on whiff or block.

On grab, your assist will recover and you’ll be able to rawtag.

Worth doing on situations where you want to go for an airthrow, but you’re scared of whiffing completely.

They *could * still airthrow you if they’re right under you though so be careful.

Flight, S+2atk nets you an instant unfly and low-height air dash. Has this never been posted here before or am I just crazy? Random Nova taught me this the other day.

Reacting to your slide getting push blocked with this is soooooo strong. Factor in Cold Star and goddamn, the pressure.

Oh shit…In the lab and just tested. If you fly and do S + 2 buttons, you get a dash and unfly

UPDATE: Yooooo you can also cancel that dash with a button like normal, and it will also! If you normally just fly, dash, button, you would still be in flight. Essentially you get to unfly without inputting another motion.

Double “OH SHIT!”: Normally if you c.M, fly, you have to move a little to dash. With this, you can c.M and immediately fly cancel, dash

I been using the dash tech lately and it is sooooo fucking good!

I might get around learning it but not now since tourney is in 2 months

It’s very good, but you need to be careful sometimes doing it. It can be punished if they’re quick and pushblock the right buttons.

It’s also hard to hit confirm. Since if you hit with a slide and cancel to st.H, you need to cancel that into it on block. But when you do that and they pushblock the slide, you can be punished with dash st.L.

In that situation, unfly glitch H is probably better.
