Huh. Yeah, it’s just that sometimes characters will still roll out of it randomly for me. I think it may have to do with my timing on the air combos though.

What is the best way to move around with Nova? All I’ve been doing is just air dashing covered by Doom’s Plasma Beam Assist. I know that cr.M has good range but what else should I know.
If you cancel slide into flight, hold :df: a moment, then j.:l: j.:h: xx unfly (j.:l: or :l: it will combo either way) you can start a combo. Call an assist as you enter flight to set up an unblockable and/or make it safe.
Cancelling slide into flight on block gives you proper spacing such that after holding :df: a moment the j.:l: will connect with even a crouching rocket raccoon.
^^^ Good info there, I was working with stuff like this in training mode today. I had almost forgotten how fast his flight activation was, and I was looking for every possible way to have a safe blockstring or safer way in (on the ground).
I’ve still gotta put in some more time to work on confirming stuff like this, and improving his movement, but I think I learned a ton today about Nova.
Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you! I was trying to figure out the properties of that freaking move today, and why sometimes it just wouldn’t connect. Now I don’t have to wonder or give up possible damage from a relaunch/reset.
But honestly, are there any practical red health H. gravimetric pulse setups? I avoid wasting my red health on it but it is only because I have not used it outside of BSing in training.
how often should i be using his QCB+attack abilities? They seem quite unsafe, and I don’t quite know how their priority is. I can honestly say I probably never use them in a match (although I’ve started trying to LMH QCB+M, then follow up, similar to Wesker’s LMH QCF+M teleport combos)
They are combo tools mostly, if you need a rush to get you close, Centurion C beats everything (but is still unsafe on block), and his slide is really good.
I play Nova on my 2nd or 3rd team at the moment. I heard about some Energy Javelin reset (possibly a glitch? something about forcing a back tech?). I dont feel like searching through all these pages in different threads so can someone explain to me (or show me in a video) what this is all about?
any tips on Novas BNB combo with all the fly unfly H… many times the are too far on the drop down? should i do it sooner or delay it? also does pressing H to fast after fly causes centurion for anyone else? i do the motion qcb only onces but i do s then h and sometimes i’ll get a centurion and i notice i’m in flight mode so the flight input did go though.
What have you fellow Nova players been doing against Teleport/Mix-Up characters??Was running a player match a min ago against a Dante,Vergil,Trish team and my Nova didn’t know what to do.LoL.I got bombarded and felt like I had no kind of strategy against em…any ideas/tips from anybody??Would love to hear how you guys have been countering those teleport/mix-ups,maybe I’m not being mobile and flying/air-dashing enough

I’d like to know if anyone has tried this setup: During a combo involving the Energy Javelin reset etc,call in Strange’s Eye of Agamotto assist and then Centurion L? Would that count as an unblockable since the assist locks down for quite a while ,the javelin hits from above and the Centurion rush hits low? Sorry,I won’t be able to play till the weekend so can’t test by myself
