Not quite Super Turbo

This thread has been silent for over a day now. So, are we in agreement? Is Grand Master Challenge on DC to be the interim standard until HD Remix releases? Anyone have strong objections to this? Zach only has 2 Dreamcasts, but the CvS2 tournament is run on PS2, so all should be well. Worst case scenario would see someone bringing another DC.

Just over a week remaining. Set those dip switches so that Ken, New Sagat (as if anyone plays him), and Dhalsim don’t get reversal supers. Alex, get at me so that I can copy your save file. Not that I plan on practicing solo, but I’d feel more at ease with the world if I had the save file.

Someone start figuring out how to change the outfit colors on Grand Master Challenge. I don’t really like the colors on my two main characters. Claw’s colors are too gay, and Old Sagat’s aren’t gay enough.

Will Portlanders be making the trip up on the 21st? I’ll try and show up again if you guys are attending.

Changing outfit colors would make DC the standard for me even if it doesn’t play well. Old pink T Hawk ftw

OH MAN I hadn’t even considered the possibility of changing the outfit colors

someone get on this immediately

Hmmm, lemme look into it…where is the info for custom MVC2?

BTW, can someone give me some easy ways to test if my Japanese AE is the new improved one or the old crappy one?

do Vega’s Flying Barcelona Attack

poop/pee

Is this d, u+K walldive?

If memory serves me, this move was impossible to do on HSF2 arcade, but fixed on this home console version…but I haven’t played it in a while.

Any other ways to check?

yes, its the wall dive

By impossible to do on HSF2, I meant the normal input was broken, you had to do d, k, U.

But I will test it tommorow, to my memory though this one is okay to do the walldive on, but I might be wrong.

I’m assuming that you guys have settled into the DC version of ST for tournaments up until the release of HD. I think it’s also accepted that the dip switches for tournament play will disable reversal supers by Ken, Dhalsim, and Sagat. Question is, what speed will tournaments be ran at? Season’s Beatings will run their next ST tournament at speed 4. I think the default is speed 3. Anyone have strong feelings on this matter? Anyone tested the game out to see which speed closely resembles the highest arcade setting?
