i’ve resorted to c.rh -_-, from afar, and s.hpXXtornado if i’m sure they’re close enough for a close s.hp
So I tried out doing the EX snake strike after blocked first low hit of blanka’s ultra when done close. It does work but only hits once. Which sucks, BUT I did play around with the EX messiah punish after the first hit.
If you do the EX messiah on blanka’s ascent you’ll knock him out clean with one hit like my previous post. IF you wait till blanka’s descent the invincible window will actually let blanka drop to the ground which means the EX messiah will hit for ALL hits as blanka has technically touched the ground. Big punish especially if you cancel into ulta etc…
I don’t know if anyone else is having any problems with a really good Guile players. At the moment I play quite a lot of games with my friend who’s got Guile on lock so far. If I go to Tornado his “SB” it gets countered by one of his step in kicks, same tactic will happen if I try do FA his projectiles as well.
If I try to jump its either (S.HP or Cr.HP) not to sure or he will just (J.HK, or Air throw) which does not leave me with much options to counter attack lol.
So has anyone got any decent tactic’s for good Guile players?
- the focus attack hits the f+forward but it’s only lvl 1 so it doesn’t crumple
yes you can ultra inbetween his c.hk. you can also triangle jump dive kick inbetween. jump in on him from a distance with hp then go to c.mk ex tornado for 30% life.
If you try to go in after F.Mk hits you by rights you should get punished if there still attacking, your best bet is just to FA level 1 and dash back out of it. Then go for what you want eg: Dive Kick, since you should have spaced your self of poking distance. So from this at least you can regroup and figure what you want to do from there.
How am I suppose to Ultra from his cr.hp, I’ am the one trying to jump over SB with the Dive Kick. Which will get punished all the time, because hes always keeping me at that distance. My J.hp usually gets punished with his J.hk, for that I dunno weather i’ am doing it too early or late.

sorry sorry c.hk. when you jump and you see him jump try to hit that hk as soon as you see his jump. if he doesnt jump he is most likely gonna c.hp or flash kick thats when you go for the late hp. you should have enough time in between to figure out if you need to do an early hk or a late hp.

i understand that rufus vs chun is favourable matchup,but i find it’s hard to win against 2 chuns in my area.
I find it’'s hard to enter her zone due to kikoken, and basically i have to predict her jump to get any closer…
any tips?
Delayed dive kick may help to put off your opponents timing. Or try and bait her Kikoken with the Dive Kick then, EX Massiah Kick though them if you have meter.

Basically my problems are:
-rufus always lose to chun in air to air battle, excepting we predict their jump first.
-in mid range/long range battle, i find it hard to close the zone because of chun’s far HP and MK
-her jump straight HK beats every dive kick mixup, excepting we predict the jump and jump fwd HK, ultra_EX snake

Any other setups besides using an Ultra/Super/LP snake strike that you can link into the target combo?
Air strong punch beats most of her air attacks if you did them the same time. When you jump towards her, watch for her reaction. If she jumps, hit strong. If she doesn’t, dive kick.

Is there something to use against bison’s follow punch on a blocked head stomp? Seems like everything gets stuffed.
Just Cr.mp the headstomp or Ex version.
Yeah I know that but sometimes I can’t react to it and end up blocking it.
